Can anyone help me out with this please.

After i kick start my spark 135, when i throttle or change gear, my engine will die.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening?

Hi, thanks for replying me.

I just bought my bike on the 7th of this month. And i had this issue recently. i went back to the shop and he said just throttle after i kick start. i tried what he said but it still dies off.

what do you mean by how was the idling speed?

And how do i check the carb?

I assume yours is a second hand?

Was it idling normally e.g too low?

Does it die off when idling or only when throttled?

You said you just bought it, shouldn't the shop solve the problem for you? Insist that they do.

yeah mine is a second hand bike.

just now i was at the traffic light and i accidentally let go the clutch, so the engine died.

so when i kick start and change to gear 1, it died off.

i kept repeating this till 1 traffic light is over...

is this normal, or is there something wrong with my bike??

So it was just a one time thing?

Now it operates normally?

If yes, your bike should be fine. Probably your carb flooded.

this happens sometimes when i start my bike in the morning. Or when i'm travelling on the road and i accidentally let go my clutch when stationary...

what do you mean by carb flooded? flooded with what?

Flooded with petrol. Could your carb jettings are off. Since it's just few days old why not insist your shop to service/repair it for you. Don't hesitate bro when safety's at stake. Meanwhile, try not to let go your clutch too soon.

Just by looking at its externals I doubt anyone cN tell whether jettings are off. Looking out for symptoms are one if it.

Again, shouldn't you be gg back to the shop to have it rectified?

I went back to the shop this afternoon and the mechanic tried riding. Apparently he said nothing is wrong with my bike, he then check the spark plug and just put some oil on my chain and make my biting point further. I will monitor again for the next few days and see how it goes.

I would also like to check if its legal to install sp carb and CDI onto my spark??

Since that's what he said, just take his words for now. If it happens again, prolly you could have someone you know who's more experienced to take a look?

Modifications : I'd say stay with stock and you won't go wrong. But if you insist, be sure your bike's in the good hands of someone who knows what he's doing. Trust me, you wouldn't wanna follow-up on complications that comes after a bad mod. Yours is a 135cc rite? How fast ya wanna go bro?

LOL ya la.. thats why.. why did you letgo of ur clutch when u know its at gear1? and i assume u kickstart at gear1 and not at neutral gear?

and no need to install whatsoever carb or cdi, stock is the best and with proper setting and riding, u can even match with moded bike.

regarding ur bike, try to throttle more and slowly.. might be due to overflow thus bike died.
