Pulai Waterfall & Lam Seafood On Saturday 2nd June 2007

Any one interested for a trip to Pulai Waterfall & Lam Seafood can sign up below. The waterfall is 20min ride from Kulai Town only.

 

We'll meet at GP Petronas at 12pm & depart at 12.30pm to Kulai town for lunch. After lunch, we'll go to Pulai Waterfall for pic taking. Those who wish to swim may do so, but at their own risk. But we need to split into 2 groups to take turns to jaga the bikes. Each group will have only half hour to spend at the waterfall. But gals are excused from jaga the bikes. This is necessary because we had a past incident of someone's helmet being stolen from his bike.

 

At about 3.30 - 4.00pm , we'll depart for Lam Seafood which is somewhere after Taman Perling. Along the way, we'll stop by for dvd top up in one of Taman Perling many shops.

 

By 5.30pm , we 'll be sitting happily in Lam Seafood watching sunset by the sea. You can be sure the scenery is very nice. By 7pm, we'll return to Spore via Tuas link.

 

NB: If response is less than 6 persons, the trip will be cancelled. The max speed to Kulai will be 100km/hr, so all 2B bikes are welcome.

When did you last visit the place? The waterfall photo above was taken on november 2006. Visited the place 3 times since June 2006, even though I heard of the place was closed but it actually stays open. But the toilet / changing facilities are closed & abandoned. The barricade or barrier has been removed or vandalised.

 

Many bikers & cars are parked there on weekends. My friend's helmet was stolen from his bike in our last trip, that's why we need big group, split into 2 & take turns to jaga the bikes.

xiaoxiao: There are many local gals & guys swimming there. But those gals & guys are daring to change their clothings with just a towel wrapped on their body. Some will change clothes inside their cars. If need to pee, the only place is to walk into the forest nearby & do it.

 

So those people who want to bring their girlfriends there must tell the gf beforehand the inconveniences.

 

mikeang33: The cost for this trip is just pay the petrol for about 100km of mileage & seafood. I never ate at this place before, but from past experience in other jb seafood, it usually cost between RM25 to 35 per head.

from what i remember the last time i went in by car, the road to Lam seafood is very rocky and could possibly be quite challenging to ride in so please take extra caution...however that was quite awhile ago.. not sure if they've done up the road yet. pls correct me if i'm wrong.

Reminders:-

1. Bring rain gears just in case. Expected any rain will last about 1 hr, since no more rainy season.
   
2. Wear shoes which have good grip because you need to step on wet slimy rocks at the waterfall area to cross over the other side. You need to cross the other side to reach the upper falls.
   
3. Bring enough RM for lunch at kulai & seafood dinner & petrol. And buying dvds.
