hello there.

Seems like I seen a lot of Yamaha R1/R6 riders on the road more than Suzuki GSXR 600.

Was wondering what seems to be the reason that Yamaha R1/R6 seems more popular? Is it the availability of spare parts, ease of maintenance etc...?

Just asking cos I've both bikes on my mind to choose either 1.

Thanks.

Have a look at Triumph Daytona 675 also.

I was looking at those same bikes, but ended up with the triumph for a whole load of reasons that you will find in all the mags.

Between the bikes you mention though, the Suzuke build quality is far better than the Yam. Not sure why we dont see many of them around here though.
