Well, better keep the Police Report properly. In case some mis-use of the Driving License, you can prove you lost it on that certain date.

To my understanding, some documents do not need a police report to get a replacement, such IC and license.. Ppl who loses such items need not make a police report, but instead just go to ICA or TP to get a replacement done..

 

 

Probably what happen in "mikeang33" case was, license lost, then he went straight to TP to get a replacement done, no police report was made... thats why only got receipt.. if really want police report, can always go made one.. If lazy like me, --> http://www.spf.gov.sg report can be made online.. cheers

I think its better to insist on a report so that you can cover your bases if anything happen... e.g. kena misused by the thief

all those with photoID cards are subjected to illegal usage lah... sad to say, have to be really careful with such personal items.

 

the trouble is not just to replace them but also the anxiety that they might be misused... i am sure those that had this experience will understand the feeling...
