i guess it's ok to do it when cool, but leave some allowance cos when tpical riding, engine will warmup fully n the idling rpm at tt pt of time reflects the "true" value. noe wat i mean? :thumb:

when u clutch in and bike still can move.

Properly yur clutch is nt properly align.or adjust. Find someone who knws or yur mechanic to adjust for u.

That may nt be the cause of yur clutch plate wearing off.

WHen yur clutch plate wear off when.. U haf fully release clutch n u open yur throttle but yet yur bike is moving slowly or u feel clutch slip.

Thts one of the cause wher u feel yur clutch plate is wearing off.

When u change yur clutch plate.U can change yur engine oil too as the right side cover of the engine casing has to be taken out to change the disc inside.

If i m nt wrong , there r 5 or 6.

Some change a new one set and some change the position of the plates to save money.

pls understand as my terms may nt be 100% same as internet site quoted.

Check the idiling speed is set correctly. 1200rpm +/- 100 when bike is fully warm up.

Hi S4 bros out there!i recently occured with my idling droppin when stop stationary at traffic lights, which resulted engine to die off! ITs been occasion and also quite difficult to start my bike!

Is it due to sparks plug prob? IF so can reccommend me type of sparks plug!

i`m currently using Denso Spark plug!

Thanks...

spark plug is 1 possibility.

fuel tube is another. if u choke/restrict it accidentally, same thing could happen.

air filter also. if dirty, same thing could happen.

dirty/choke carbs another possibility.
