Once in a yellow sun i use STP Gas Treatment red @$6.45 this year use 2 bot only so far so good.

:p

Me too. I used an entire bottle of STP treatment (a bit too over, I know but I too lazy to fill half bottle each time).

The sluggishness can be felt upon topping up one bottle, but I will refuel afterwards during half-tank and it will resume the power. And I also don't do it that often (about once every 2 years)

where can I get the buy the STP Gas Treatment ?

It seems like this is more power - http://www.stp.com/products/fuel-additives/complete-fuel-system-cleaner/ :)

Use with caution and not too much like me... There is an obvious difference when you overuse it, the engine feels sluggish. I had to top up fuel way before reserve (5.++l) to correct the fuel mixture. After that, its power all the way.

personal feeling. Each time after one year plus, can feel a bit of retardedness in the engine (like clogging buay pang sai type). I use STP because there was once when I was out camping using generator, some kuku friend of mine topped up the generator using diesel (the generator is a petrol engine). End up engine cannot start (he cranked it so many times until chambers all flooded with diesel). Then I saw the STP in a kiosk and bought it to try out, and turn out the generator worked (no need to repair) and ran even more smoothly than before.

If you go on the internet, you can find out how to make high octane "racing fuel" from simple things you can get at your local hardware store. I'm going to be running an 11to1 piston so high octane is a must. I'm thinking in the 104+ octane rating.
