engine is stock....

 

Polini Speed Control, Speed Clutch, Speed Bell , GPR pipe , Braking disc brake and paintwork changed less than 6 months ago...

 

Belt and Magnetic Coil changed on 15th Dec 07

 

Battery changed on 1st of august 08

Using Michelin Gold Standard tyres.

 

I use only good engine oil during my time with the bike.I'll change my engine oil and spark plug every 2500km service done by future scootering.

 

Other accessories installed:

1. Alarm System with seat opener. Spare remote control available.

2. Digital Voltmeter

3. Mikuku rear shocks

4. 1 Bottle Cages on the front panel to put your can/bottled drinks

5. Stebel Electric Horn.

6. Cover for the LCD panel.

7. LED install at e bottom part of e rear guard ( there is a switch for ON/OFF )

Water pump no problem. Have been riding this baby since May 07. Im not sure if the previous owner has changed them though.

 

All servicing & accessories done at future scootering

 

Road tax will be till oct 08.

 

Reluctant Sale. Work requires me to have 4 wheels.

Selling off my Gilera FXR 2-stroke Runner.

 

Details

- Registered Apr 1998, Renew COE this yr so valid until Apr 2018 (COE prices as of Oct 2008 is @ $1600+-)

- Road tax vaild till Apr 2009

- Mileage is just over 100,000 km.

 

Parts

- other mechanical parts are stock condition but the follwing were changed:

- Water Pump (Dec 07)

- Block & Piston (Dec 07)

- Original 4-stroke fork (Aug 07)

- Cone bearing (Aug 07)

 

The major overhaul last yr costs more than $1000 (expensive stuff were the fork, water pump, block & piston). Coupled with the 10-yr COE i forked out this yr, this Runner should serve any rider faithfully. Deciding to sell cuz i'm going to go back riding my Vespa. LOL

Hello..

I have some of my vintage collection accessories for sale.

 

1. I have this BRAND NEW Vespa front rack for sale. Bought it at TA (Tong Aik) for $125 early this year. The rack has slight scratches on the upper left side of the bar as you can see from the picture 5 below. Its not really noticeable unless you see it from very near. Anyway, its as good as new. I was suppose to buy this rack for my friend from Malaysia but it can't fix to his Lambretta and I decide to sell this front rack at lower price. Im asking for $85 slightly nego. No time waster and please no ridicules offer. My lost is your gain. Btw, it comes with the bracket aswell, unopen plastic (see pic 1, 2 & 3)

2. This Vespa seat is brand new never been use but not really in good condition. Everything is perfect except for the front end of the seat and I really don't know how to explain ( see pic no.6 ). It has been in my store for many years. I can't really remember how much I bought this seat for and Im letting go for $40 and the price is negotiate.

IT HAS BEEN USED AND DOES SHOW SIGNS OF WEAR, THE CHROME IS A LITTLE TARNISHED IN PLACES BUT NO MISSING FLAKED AREAS ETC THE BACK PLATES DOES HAVE SCRATHES AND FLAKES MISSING.

 

OVERALL CONDITION FOR THIS ITEM IS OKAY CONSIDERING WOULD OF BEEN OUT IN THE ELEMENTS FOR YEARS.

To find one of these is very hard but and its extremly RARE. Fitted to all of the top scooters in the world.

 

It have the words SAFETY -COURTESY- REGARDE ST CHRISTOPHER - PUIS VA TEN RASSURE - enscribed on the badge.

 

It need some work doing to them to bring them back to their original glory (or fit them as they are for the original look).
