Hi my bike when I reverse in gear 1 with clutch in there is a resistance. However, if i were to put it to neutral, the resistance is gone. Is it normal or should I set the clutch setting tighter so that I can clutch in more? the current setting is most comfortable for me but it seems that i am setting the clutch a little too lose. can any one comment? thanks in advance

it's not normal. either you tighten your clutch cable more or if it is already maximum you might need to change a new clutch cable.

+1 previous 2 responses. Either your biting point is too near or clutch cable worn out.

It's true: it's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than to ride a fast bike slow. Admittedly, though... It is MOST fun to ride a fast bike fast!

Then I have to adjust further a bit, its too near I guess, there is a lot of space, it is just that this setting is more comfortable for me than with the biting point further out. thanks for all the replies.

If nothing works, then you have a clutch drag...
