hmmm dat funny sound mungkin caused by ur chain ketat sangat tak?? sometimes i do experience that too bila chain ketat den ada funny sound bila bawak.. tapi tak tau whether ur situation is the same as mine..

ie, weekly maintenance as well as learn from each other how to do basic maintenance especially for the newbies like myself who knows nutz about such things as flushing brake fluids or changing brake pads and stuff.. how??

well mayb it is too tight...

 

u can re-tighten it urself... to suit ur bodyweight...

 

sometimes shops juz tighten it to wat dey tink is rite. altho not wrong but weight of riders matters & affects the chain wen tightening the chain is concerned...

 

(correct me if i'm wrong, ppl!!)

niwei, good suggestion :thumb:

 

ni pun gara-gara MINAT pada motorsikal, pasal tu nak jaga motorsikal dgn baik :clap:

 

yang ada (bukan pointing arrow to anybody) tau pakai aje, maintain motor pun malas....nak tunggu rosak baru tukar....takde duit ah bulan ni....some of the reasons one would normally give..... :sweat:

 

certain stuff ie changing plug, EO, oil filter, air filter, signal light, tighten chain, etc are some basic things that we should know....

 

but when comes to a more technical stuff ie flushing of brake fluid (or bleeding), setting of carburator, cone or hub bearing replacement, sprocket & chain replacement etc, me prefer to let my mechanic do it.... :bouncefire:

 

POV: Prefer preventive maintenance rather than corrective maintenance :thumb:

 

juz 0.02 cents worth of my opinion

:cheer: First activity: MR Outing to Tanjong Piai, Johor :cheer:

:cheer: Date: 1 - 2 October 2005 (2 days/ 1 night trip)

Registration closing next week!!! :cheer:

 

Cost: SGD 50 per pax (incl. accomodation, breakfast, lunch, tea and BBQ dinner)

Distance: 75km (one-way)

Travelling speed: 80-100km/h - subject to weather, road condition, etc

Travelling time: Approx. 1hr 30min

Lightoff at OTOT (own time own target)

Those who are advanturers can take a slow walk along the tram path to see firefly.

 

Day 2 (Sunday 2-10-2005);
