MR yg dihormati, saya nak seek 2nd opinion. I wanna quench my thirst & at the same time nak mendalami my Ilmu Hisab (it is 'B' & not 'P').

 

It's pertaining bli minyak kat Johor (2nd-link). For argument sake, katakan we take example the most common midrange bike like S4 from the mid-of the island, say Toa Payoh area.

 

My breakdown are as follows (ALL figure are approximate only);

 

Average fuel consumption : 22KM/liter (Singapore traffic)

Fuel range before reserved : 250km

Reserved ranged: 50km

Distance to & From Toa Payoh : 90km (via Exit 312C)

Safe mileage covered before decides to enter Johor : 200km

Total petrol usage to cover the 290km : 13.2L

Costs of 200Km petrol if bought in SGP : S$16.25

Costs of 290km petrol if bought in GP : S$10.90 (290/22 x RM1.9 / S$2.30)

Total TOL Costs if bought in GP : s$2.40

 

Grand Total costs if buy petrol in GP : S$13.30

Grand Total Saving : S$2.95

 

If putting into consideration of penat lelah, hassle ngan other bikes kat chk-point, tyre, wear & tear, minum2, it seems like MAY costs more . Ya ke tidak :?

 

However if bought/enter via 1st-link (shorter distance & TOL free), the saving cld be S$8.00 approx? BUT in a hostile area??? hmmm ...

 

Boleh kasi komen tak??? Betul ker tidak ma ilmu hisab menhisap nie??

apek apasal kau punya fuel range sebelum masuk reserve sikit sangat...only 250 km aje? aku punya bole jejak around 310km per full tank sebelum masuk reserve... kau dah lama tak servis carbs kau eh? normally ver s bole lepas 300 senang2.....kau try gi servis dan retune carbs, tukar air filter, eo dan plugs dulu... think bole lepas 300km....

 

btw kau if staying at Toa Payoh masuk woodlands kan lagi dekat...tak payah bayar toll lagi...

Celahan tuan!

Setelah merujuk apa yang telah di type oleh saudari apek tadi,

saya dapati fakta² yang telah disampaikan bercangah dgn apa yang dialami oleh

penungang S4.Mengikut kajian yang dijalankan oleh persatuan pengisi minyak jb.

kajian menunjukan bahawa isi minyak di jb dapat membantu menjimatkan kos.

Kalau saudara apek go JB pump minyak sahaja teros balik..sudah tentu anda dpt menjimatkan wang.Kalau gi jb gi makan/shisha/rokok mana nak dapat penjimatan beb!

 

Disini saya kurang bersetuju dgn apa yang diperkatakan oleh saudara apek.

actually apek, dats based on distance from toa payoh.. right? so if thats the case, maybe for you, it might not be worthwhile. likewise for me if going from pasir ris to second link, pay toll and 100km++ of total distance covered and my full tank is 250km, reserve @ 210km.

 

which is why i alwez go by 1st link... but... like u mention, the hostile city, the jam etc makes it juz as bad as the 2nd link option.

 

so the conclusion is to find the shortest distance to JB for top-up but do not engage in any other activities while we're over there. masuk, pump petrol den go back.

ah ah lah apek, bagi aku kau patut pump minyak at 1st link. lagi save.

 

somemore kau nya fuel consumption 250 sebelum reserve then oklah let say plus2 campur reserve eh, konon total ad additional 40km

 

250+40=290km / 18l total will be 16.1l per km.

 

MOtor kau makan banyak minyak beb or nak dikatakan motor kau tengah kenduri minyak hehehehe.

 

Aku setuju dengan cadangan abang wingzero untuk mengtunekan carburator,tukar sparkplug and yanda2 selain nya. maybe bleh adjust some fuel Consumption.

 

Aku pun sebelum reserve is ard 300-310 then total up ard 340+ gitu. ini kirakan kan dah limit utk motor aku. makna 18.8l per km.

 

 

BTW, Joke kau taruk smlm buat aku ketawa sendiri sampai boss aku tanya aku apa dah buang tebiat ketawa depan monitor.

Kan dah ckp that ia tiada kena mengena dgn sesiapa yg masih hidup atau yg sedang tido S4 just being the most common commuting bike & Toa Payoh just being the most central.

lagi 1, bebanyak maaf for the wrong info of S4 reserved at 250. IT (the particular in question) reserved at 350. Fill-up at 375 at 16L, means consume 23.44KM/L Jap lagi kalau forum tak slag, aku nak re-submit my hisaB lagi
