Wah that uncle..erm I mean your colleague seems more 'garang' than a youngster biker.i believe too he was once a 'lacer' :cheeky: .LC Tong for 26 years? explains the difficulty in adjusting to bikes of present technology. All he needs is time. He'll settle in.u said the owner, your boss, wants the bike to be serviced becoz it has been left idle for a while.Ask the uncle to do just that lah. It's a FY spec 3 and i believe the last time your boss turned off the engine, the bike is OK. Tricking it to fly up to 250kmh wont bring back days for the uncle.u should tell him to sit back and enjoy what the 'super four lifestyle' is.

But then again, since money is no object in this thing .......

IMHO

you can probably imagine the kind of stories lah... one time we sit down in the kopitiam for tea break, then i ask him abt his bike, then he start telling me many many stories, about last time outing in sg is 100-200 bikes, got LC tong, LC kia, RXK, RXZ, etc together, or go desaru, melaka, 30-40bikes, etc. and occasionally tell me some mac-rider at the red light there admire the bike and ask him whether want to sell anot but he just wont part with his lao cai. but always he cant finish the story, always end with "you buy me beer tonight then i can tell you more". haha...

anyway becos it's been parked there for 20mths idle (occasionally start once or twice), the battery has been changed 4 or 5 times and the bike doesnt feel as great as my specI. well, he just can't get used to the "superfour lifestyle"... his complains when riding the bike are always the same. (1) engine brake very heavy and irritating (2) pick up no power, have to drag very high rpm before some kind of real power comes in. (3) the bike feels like a cow trying hard to run but cant run.

i remember i tried his LC tong that time, only need to open half throttle at 1st gear then i wheelie liao. lucky never throw clutch, otherwise hong kan liao. anyway, i've put forward all you guys suggestions to him, he feels that the s4 is better kept parked in office bikepark and under two covers. somehow, old man must ride old bike la... more suitable. :D
