what did you do for your last servicing ?? Make sure sure all your base stuffs in your bike is in goof conditions

1) Tire- make sure not half worn.

2) brakes- brake pads still got at least half life.

3) clutch cable- did u lube often ? How long u using your existing clutch cables ?

4) change oil and filter.

5) spark plug good ?

6)Coolant hoses still good conditions ??

7) wheel bearing still good ?

8) battery ??

Touch wood , anything can happen along the way to Melaka. 2 year ago , one of my friend rode S4 spec 1 with us to Melaka, at Yong Peng , his bike comes out a lots of smoke from his exhaust. Piston rings worn and engine oil goes to his exhaust. Cost him 350SGD to tow back to spore. Lastly buy a travel Ins. Good luck.

Check condition of your chain. Bring some basic tools on your trip, including tire repair kit & hand pump / air canister. And get hold of one or two Singapore bike shop number that can offer towing service from Malaysia back to Singapore. Good to check out the price from the shop as a reference.

When you are back Singapore, you can probably do your next servicing (oil change & filter change etc) when you reach the next servicing mileage, if your bike don't give you any problem on the trip.

Malacca is not too far off. Enjoy your ride and have fun. Rest well before setting off on your trip.
