Why don't you go to the bike shop and do it? Give them some business. Otherwise, go to the bike shop, speak to the mechanics, buy the coolant from them and do it yourself under their supervision. So that you can learn how to do it. There're a lot of pre-mixed coolant in the market nowadays.

if i were to get the maxima coolaide premix, would 1 bottle be sufficient for my super4? i plan to flush my existing coolant and replace it with the coolaide. as far as i know, mustafa carries this product. does anyone have other shops to recommend?

hi guys, i just brought a bottle of maxima cool-aide coolant READY-TO-USE type..

i wish to flush it myself.

so must i add water to it or just pour in will do?

which its better since some people also add in water when they using READY-TO-USE type and not concentrate type.

juz pour in..

normally ppl will add water if the bike require more than 1.8 litres of coolant..

maxima coolaide ready to use is onli 1.8 litres..

buy maxima coolaide READY2USE. 1bottle is enuf, 1.89 litres. jus nice for ur main coolant 2b full n adequate enuf for ur spare coolant reservoir. spare reservoir don hav 2b exactly full. jus top till the "upper" lining will do.

maybe they feel that the ratio of the water and the additive by default is not rite.. that y they add water to the existing ratio as water is better heat conductor compare to the additives..

the funny thing is, the temp won't go further up 2 bar behind red when travelling.. but then i slow down the speed, will slowly increase.. when @ red light will be constant 1 bar behind red..

Time to try redline water wetter. ard $16 per bottle and add water. Dont add any coolant.

Apart from changing or flushing coolant,u also must take note of the physical state of ur radiator.Look at the fins,is it bent or damaged due to debris while riding.Try to look at the back of the radiator too,u'll be surprise to see a lot of dirt accumulated at that area.Some ppl suggest dat u use steam to clean it but u muz never use high pressure water to flush the dirt away or u'll make it worse.Try to use normal flushing water to clean the fin.ANd to straighten the fins,use a toothpick.Its tiring but efective.If ure lazy......................................................buy a new rad.

before that, the temp will go 2 bar before red line even running on Expressway.. when i exit, it will shoot up to 1 bar before red line..

Automotive Coolant flush somehow are not bike friendly.

 

The best and cheapest way to flush a motorcycle radiator is to use Vinegar mix with distill water to flush.

 

Vinegar contains mild acid, it will helps to get rid of the scaling.
