Accident Claim Enquiries

Hi guys, I posted a couple of weeks ago asking about my insurance claim done by motodiam. Near to 2 yrs of waiting, my claim is said to be done.

 

But I need to check with you guys as I was told by the motodiam boss that the claim I would be getting is for myself. During that accident, I had a pillion. And he said that the pillion's claim is fought, seperate from mine. is it true? Someone please advise.

You should quickly ask the pillion rider to consult a lawyer if he suffered injuries from the accident. Claims for personal injury have to be started within 3 years of the accident.

I just received a letter, saying that my pillion is claiming my insurance? I thought, technically, my pillion shld be claiming the taxi's?

The pillion rider should claim against both motorists' insurances. That is because he can't tell who is at fault and in most cases, it's both parties sharing a portion of the total damages for injury.
