Haha Lass, I had that mentality today and nearly got into an accident (ie I want to get to work!).

 

Anyway, off acc. lane from Braddell Road into CTE going to Orchard, I was the last bike of 5, then overtook one. The guy in front of me was on a Suzuki (not sure what model, plate number FV something I think), then we were both stuck behind this van when I went out to second lane. Because I went out too fast, the van which suddenly stopped gave me a shock and I had to cut with no room to spare to the last lane. Think I got honked badly by someone, not sure who. :\

 

Then in front there was this Class 2 bike (too far to see what model, double exhaust by the sides, FX 6187 or something), ride like hellrider with a female pillion, and I was reminded how I needed to ride safe (and not like him). Though I admire his skill, staying alive is better.

hehe actually i meant to say that i only wanted to get to work safely and how others want to ride like hell riders i just let them be.

 

anyway it's a good thing u r ok.

Anyway yeah, I went home early and managed to get only a bit of rain, though it really did not start raining hard till later. And yes, riding in the rain sucks.

 

Raptor: I know the feeling, I rode before on PIE at nearly 7 AM, damn cold too, though maybe not as bad as yours.

On the way home, at Collyer Quay, this car keeps eating into my lane, even though I try and avoid the car. I got sick and tired of him trying to cut in and I gave him a very loud horn! It was driven by a guy.

 

At River Valley Road, from the junction of Clemenceau Avenue to River Valley Close & Killiney Road, this silver Camry (SDV 17**) kept cutting into my lane. I was on the right lane and this car was on the left. The Camry kept drifting into my lane and drifted back again. I was going to give this driver a piece of my mind when it turned to River Valley Close. Judging from the hairstyle, the driver was a woman.

10:15 AM, at cross junction near PIE exit Jurong Town Hall Road. Suzuki GSX, not sure what CC, never took a second look, yellow with red and black spots. Never saw his plate number, because he was aiming to blast me and he went off when light turned green, even took his front wheel up into the air. Crazy. Obviously a 2A bike cannot win a 2 bike, so why try stunt just to piss others off, or to show off?

Just now while coming back from Motoworld, saw an ice cream seller wearing a red coloured full face helmet!

 

I mean, talk about being cool, but this is outstanding!!! Really, this is something out of the norm.

Hmm.. thats's really interesting.

 

Looks like I must make a trip one of these nights down to the dam and have a chat with him. I really want to know the reason why he wears a full face helmet.

Is it because he is very safety conscious or is it because he just wanted to fit in the scene.

 

When is the best time and night to go to the dam, as in the most happening night?

Sure did, and watched the MotoGP too.

Tried to call Edwin just now but no answer... wanted to ask him how much the case savers for the DRZ cost.

 

And yes... Marco Melandri has justed tasted the sweetness of victory and he will be coming back for more. Mark my words.

hmm u tried calling him again?

 

melandri has improved alot but he tends to imitate rossi too much.

 

sad to say but rossi will hv a tough time maintaining his championship this year.

Huge jam yesterday due to fallen tree covering 2/3 lanes at Dunearn Road (coming from Bukit Timah Plaza and Beauty World direction). That was about 7 pm. It was drizzling too.

 

I knew something was wrong when ALL the buses were changing from the left lane to the right lane. My 1st thought was another accident. I wasn't far from wrong. Apparently, a taxi had also crashed into the fallen tree.

trees r becoming a hazard. just recently a fallen tree opp maju camp caused a major taffic jam and all traffic had to be diverted towards commondwealth. i ended up going thru 6th ave and bt timah road w a massive jam.

Yup, I read about that. I supposed the trees around there were planted at the same time and now they are getting old and weak.

 

 

Brings back some memories though. I still remember back in '98, there was a fallen tree at Upper Thomson Road. Was driving back in my dad's Toyota Corona from my then-gf's place. Thankfully it was at night and there was not much traffic.
