Er....new tyres can also get nailed you know  Kekeke....

Seriously, for you, GPR70 is overkill as you use it as a daily ride. A more sports touring is better for you. Maybe the Battlax you talking about is BT014.

eeks u r freaking me out! hmm come to think of it, i hv yet to chk my tyre pressure for a long time hehe

gpr70 is on the bike tat i take out for a spin in malaysia hehe

talking or non talking....female drivers r dangerous hehe (til now i got no class 3 hehe) i try to stay away if i can help it. most common habit is dunno which lane to go.

well it's not a bad thing to know the status of your tyre la. i should make a more concientious effort to notice as well. nv know when it's worn out or has puncture in it. well i will try hehe, kinda took it for granted cos it's still new hehe next one i think i want to try battlax dunno which model liao heard that it's pretty good on both dry and wet. gpr 70's great on dry, wears out too fast but not much grip on wet...my other bike's on grp 70 tat's why i notice the diff.

the BT 014's are good wet or dry

Coming back from track just now.. twice nearly got hit by taxi changing lanes without signals. Cut into my path and causing me to do e-brake.

Really feel like kicking the driver side window with my boots. :gun:

Yeah... the way you riding on the track just now, you make the BT014s on your bike look like they are Michelin Pilot Power Race.

Scraping engine guard and foot brake pedal until it is bent backwards. You are one crazy guy on an S4!! :faint: :thumb:

Gold coloured SFC plate Volvo was driving very slowly along Napier Road. There was so much space in front it's not funny. Even the prime mover on the left lane was a lot faster.

Finally she managed to get onto the lane that turns into Tanglin Road towards Alexandra. That's when I got a good look at the driver.

Lucky to alive to post this.

Riding to work on DRZ along SLE this morning in the rain.

Bike in front of me weaving through the heavy traffic clipped the rear bumber of an SUV and and went down. Saw sparks and pieces of plastic flying all over the lane.

Hit the brakes on the DRZ and the bike slid sideways to the right, released the brakes, straightened the bike and hit the brakes again, this time front wheel locked (got onto the oil from the other bike) and went down instantly on the left side.

Saw the wheels of the cars like 6 inches from my face!!. Cars jamming brakes and skidding on either side of me. Quickly got up and lifted up the bike, started it again and rode off to the side. Bike was OK, handguards and axle sliders did their job again, handlebar shifted on its mount on the left side, small problem.

What really hurts was my left kneecap area and my left hip bone. Badly bruised, skin come out but little bleeding. Now all blue black.

Crashing on SLE in the morning traffic rush is scary. I thank all the gods in heaven for sparing my life. It could have been really ugly.

You never got MC???

Front wheel lockout is like that.....no warnings. Just tucked and go.

So suay....was me during wet road to work and now I heard it's you, only when I'm over here in States for a few days.

Still can get into a suit for your tri track days? That's what I was worrying about when I fell on my Wave. No track because worrying the wounds would be rubbing inside my suit.

Take care bro!!!

Oh, now the golden question....if it's the CBR, would it be different? As in, could you get out of the situation safely?

Yesterday at PG met up with a group of guys and gals from the Hornet thread of the Naked Bike topics. At least 10 bikes on the track.

Looked like they had alot of fun playing on the track.

Wonder who I will meet today at PG.
