while riding home, saw 2 melay uncles ride super 4 and bandit 400... they were like racing from one junction to another..force car to give way to them.. and overtook me twice very closely at real high speed...

hope they will learn their lesson soon....

Although dangerous, this is what I would call "friendly racing".

Time to KPKB again.

Today riding towards LAB, was in the center lane.

This uncle riding a "F" license plated CG125 look alike bike just squeeze me off my lane! He came from my right, without any signal and cut into my lane without checking mirror or blindspot.

Brake, horned him and he ignored me. :sian:

Who says drivers are always in the wrong.

Then before CTE after nee soon, this lady on a BMW 3 series, made a last minute acute lane change from lane 1 to slip lane to CTE. I was in the middle lane and my front tire almost got cut off near her left passenger door. Horned and raised my hand in protest and she got away without any acknowledgement.

next time rider faster high bean her from behind lor tell her with your hand signal :thumb:

This is what I call plain stupidity.

Seen enough people die on the roads because 'friendly racing'.

Been riding long enough to have seen a few of my friends die this way simply because the public road is not a controlled environment for racing due to other road users, unknown road conditions and no safe run off zones except for kerbs, railings and bus stops.

Dun want to sound like a nag, but just my 2 cents. Sorry.

I know where you're coming from and I agree on that one.

I gave my answer, looking at the situation from its broadest perspective-- If I were in ayuluv's shoes, I would (no doubt) feel that those people are being rash. However, being in the same age-group, I would probably say those uncles know each other and are probably having a mutual, and probably a "playful" race to see who would be faster (??). I would be slightly awed by this rare scene

It's likened to seasoned Wushu masters flourishing sharp swords engaging in a display of their skills as they pit against each other. Equally as dangerous as the abovementioned scene.

Of course, the stigma of young and/or graduated riders doing the same rash stunt still remains valid as a road related taboo, no doubt.

I double wow that. o_O

Thats why I sold my CBR1000RR. Could only manage to do 180 KMH through Turn 2 at PG only after so many track sessions. :weep:

I triple wow that. I still can't do 180 on any corners.

First time in my life a TP waves 'Hi' to me as he rides past at a junction.

And there I was in my non-PSB approved full face helmet with a very dark mercury visor and race Yoshimura with the baffle removed, LED tail light assembly with a small number plate with my name on it.

Only simply because I am in the USA... bikers paradise.

Hmm... today while riding... travelling between cars due to jam along CTE, going slow around 40 when they doing 20? Phantom uncle cut into car's path on my left, gonna cut into my path le. Horn once and brake at the same time. Lucky he heard, a bit shocked and turn head to his right check mirror, and swerve his front tyre straight, aligned with the right rear tyre of the car in front. Me could not stop in time, when decelerrated to constant speed with him and side by side, our front tyres were just in line (side by side). Meaning if he did not steer straight and cut into my path instead, probably kerbummm... My handle bar just cleared his by a bit. Cars all around us, not a good place to go down. Actually a bit desensitised after reading so many posts, was all ready to react to any situation, fingers covering brakes and foot covering foot brake, but still cannot brake in time. At that moment also didn't feel any fear, although it was a very close shave. It was see, react, and either hit or miss kinda thing, cause it happpened too fast. After i pass the uncle then my b***s start to shrink. Geez...

So.. guess loud horns saves lives. Its one of those situations where you cannot stop in time and only the other party's corrective measure will avoid collision. Only using Stebel Magnum 2 at the moment. Wait till i install my Hella supertone on my next bike

Beautiful weather... cool at 28 degrees C, sunny with a few light clouds.

Sunset is at 7.45 PM.

Time to put on my leathers and head for the PKRA go kart track. Supermotard session from 3 PM to 9 PM for USD$40.

Its a dirty job... but somebody's got to do it. :cheeky:
