Went for a late dinner, was travelling along Farrer Road, a taxi jammed brake, a Malay uncle's Super4 hit the cabby on the rear, and there before my eyes, he fell and tumbled in the front left of me.

Fortunately his bike didn't slide to my lane. I quickly signalled left and stopped on the road shoulder to help. All other cars which were next to the scene of the accident just drove away, including the cabby. A truck and a Malaysian cub chai also stopped to help. (Hello Rapper, M'sian cub chai helping!!!)

The men from the truck helped pushed the bike to the side of the road and helped start up the bike while the uncle was recovering from shock at the road side. He wasn't badly hurt fortunately.

as usual, most drivers wun even give a damn... just wanna rush home or save petrol only... hai~

sometimes its not that drivers dont care but if they stop at the side of the road..they will block traffic mah...make things worse esp if heavy traffic...

Yesterday morning, when going to work along Woodlands Ave 1 junction to Ave 12, a driver in queue at the red light saw me approached in between the 2 rows of car. He actually move his car a little to let me thru when I was about to get stuck......made my day!!! See, there's still nice drivers around..... :thumb: Thanks to him!!!

Then at night, a cabby have to spoil my day by trying to squeeze me out on a merging lane.....I went into the exit first, but he keep on coming side by side until the lane became just nice for 2 vehicles.....I ease off and let him go, and could only honked.......I was driving a......van!!!! Crazy taxi driver even had a passenger in his taxi!!! :gun: fcuk him man!!!! I was so pissed as my preg wife was with me......and the van was my dad's

Early this morning at about 6.30AM was riding towards Woodlands along the SLE just after the Lentor Avenue flyover. Saw this 2 TPs parked on the road shoulder and one was pointing the handheld speed camera at me!!

Luckily because the air is normally very cold there, due to all the dense vegetation around... I was shivering and therefore riding at about 94 KMH, 3400 RPM to be exact.

Must be 2 desperadoes trying to meet their quotas for the night before shift changeover. What really piss me off is the choice of locations they choose to set up their 'ambush'. It is always at the base of sloping roads. Any vehicle coming down that overpass will automatically increase in speed due to gravity without application of throttle even!!

As I rode past them, they were not even looking at me coz they were busy aiming the camera at another vehicle that was coasting down the overpass.

Really bo liao.

I found this out accidentally, about the red light and speed cameras quite a long time ago and want to share with you guys. Not that I am encouraging or promoting speeding or running the stop lights, don't want to be accused of that so there's no need to flame hor.

This is knowledge for those situations when sh*t hapens and you unintentionally have to go fast or run the stop lights.

The sensors that trigger the camera and oso the speed cameras are located within the vehicle lanes, demarcated by the white lines. For road speed cameras, the sensors are located about 30m AFTER the camera.

The network of sensors of one lane is linked to the next lane's by two wires.

Next time you stop at a traffic light, look down on the lanes at the tar covered straight black lines and you know what I mean.

These proximity sensors serve the function of detecting a vehicle when it goes over them, to either activate the traffic light to change, red light camera to activate or even the speed camera to activate.

How to escape detection?

Ride on the white line dividing the 2 lanes, basically in between the sensor network. Something a bike can and a car can NEVER do.

I have shot through the speed cameras and red light junctions unintentionally and the cars following me got zapped. And some of these cars that got zapped by speed cameras made the mistake of trying to test pick up with me in Yishun.

There is a speed camera near the Yishun sports complex that is good for this purpose. Accelerate hard and fast and shoot through the camera in between the lanes and watch the chasing car get caught in the flash.

I tend to ride very close to the lines and not in the middle of the lane, simply because I hate to follow directly behind vehicles... no route for escape in an emergency.

But it has become a habit for me to shift my bike to ride along the white line in between the lanes when crossing traffic lights.

But then again..after having heard all that I have said... who would be crazy enough to try this out?? I won't recommend you try out what I have said even!

Just know that there are actually proven ways to get away with it should you unintentionally have to run some red lights.
