The video did'nt show enough..i bet the driver did something to the biker..if not why the biker harass the driver rite?..if the driver was hogging..most bikers will use the next clear lane to overtake and outcellerate the car..

 

But then the biker also "kayu"...haiya!!..

 

Well the car went for a good 50 seconds without anything. Still doing that to a car is terribly stupid, if ure driving its a different story.

2. most likely the driver was aggressive to the rider earlier on, tats why the rider is pissed off

 

anyway, in whatever scenario, the rider is at the losing end when accident occurs. so, i agree with bros here mentioning need to hav a cool head when encountering those drivers. not worth it man.

I just came across this thread and been reading from page 1 to last since few days ago during my free time. Ive had my share of exp on the road and with all these shared stories n even videos, I learned alot from u guys. Keep it rolling riders! Better than my thick story books i carry all the time. haha.

 

Today something funny happenned on my way home from work 0800hrs plus at KJE. Was cruising ard 100kmh on second lane. Not many vehicles since its a sat morning when I saw a blue pickup carrying construction materials was swaying left n right middle lane to 1st. My 1st bet, driver was sleepy... Caught up to him via 1st lane safely and chinese driver was happily looking down at his cell phone prob typing msgs. I made full use of my stebel horns and boy did he jumped! lolz. I signalled him with my left free hand to go back to where he belong(3rd lane) and he abruptly swerved to the shoulder and last i looked back , he stopped! I was puzzled maybe he thought Im a TP or something cos I was wearing white helmet n aviators. sigh.. As much as i want to laugh bout it, maybe my gestures caused him to panic and can even cause detrimental outcomes if there were road users on his left. So was I wrong?

Yesterday night while riding along pasir ris dr 3 on the road just beside downtown east, a honda odessys just swerved out from the 3rd lane to the 2nd lane(which im in, and im only beside him.) just because the bloody driver cant wait for the 1 taxi in front to turn left and he wanted to go straight. Happened so fast that i didnt even have time to blast my horn, some more i was pillion my gf. Then when i look at him,guess what? his eyes was sticking to his phone! EYES STICK TO PHONE, NOT EARS!!! even more dangerous than driver talking on phone.

 

i really think TP should really consider impose serious penalty for ppl caught using phone while driving. i mean the hazard caused to others road user is almost as serious as drink driving/riding la, maybe the penalty should be the same as drink driving/riding(IE, revoke license), at least you drink drive, your eyes is still on the road. But when u SMS while driving, who's looking at the road for you!?!?!?!?!.

Yes I agree with implementing stricter penalties for usage of phone while driving! Drivers always have the luxury of air con, music and enclosed "cage" to allow for mistakes that they tend to forget that they're operating a machinery that is potentially lethal to other road users. Anyway, not sure if I'm just more aware of it now but I realise that more and more road users don't signal when they switch lanes! am comparing to road conditions say just 3-4 years back...

Maybe that dumbfuxk rider had a chip on his shoulder after being hit by another driver some time back and is just generally hating on drivers? Who knows right? Weirdos everywhere. Whatever it is, he got what was coming to him.

Had this stupid truck who moved into my lane while I was in it, I was moving quite fast already, did hard engine braking plus intermittent grabbing of front brakes, changed lane, swerved in front of him, gave him the _|_. Well thats all I can do short of punching him with a helmet.

I'm just guessing la, I don't know u. There was once an OPC car suddenly brake & want to hide from me when he saw me in his rear view mirror. I was riding a pearl white Spec 3 with a white helmet. Guess he nvr applied to drive during normal hours & feared that I'm from LTA.

On expressway in lane 2, the giant truck in lane 3 decided to switch to lane 3 without any signaling. I suddenly sense that the the truck is shifting nearer to lane 2, i quickly check mirror, lane 1 clear, i swerved to lane 1. Quick glance at mirror, that truck is already in lane 2.

Anyone think that the KJE entrance area along BKE is dangerous? It's often congested due to heavy vehicles. Perhaps LTA should consider widening that portion of the expressway. haha.

Just a read on how it is possible that drivers may not see you, even if they do a quick check of their blind spot. Or even if they seem to be glancing at you.

 

They may know to check the blind spot but if not done correctly or properly, they may still miss out on seeing the biker.

 

Bottom line is when your eyes are in motion, they switch off. So even if you sweep across from point A to b, you won't see what is in between.

 

Accept that you may be hard to spot and ride as such.

 

End of the day, may all have a safe ride. =)

Got one time I driving n saw a police car driving slowly n tapping his break every few secs....

Overtook him n saw he texting while driving...so I horn n stared at him giving my hand signal for him to pullover .... He was so shocked n keep apologizing to me...haha

Finally decided to get on my bike again after my crash at PG 2 weeks ago. Bike only started after close to 10mins of kicking, with choke being the title decider in the last 2mins. It feels damn bloody good to be back on the bike again, though changing gears was a chore due to my fractured middle and ring fingers on my left hand. Rode about 10mins round and round the top 2 floors of the nearby mscp to get the engine going smoothly again. Tmr will be sending it down for servicing along with the new set of fairings. Time for restoration. Lol.
