mind if u pm me the bikeshop name?

and yes its true abt the nature of bikeshops in sg..but beware that some bikeshop at jb also sometimes hamtam anyhow..the way to know which one is good or not is by hearsay and own experience..once u find something is amiss with one of the shop..try to clarify but if what they answer to u does not seem justifiable..then jump shop and ask about their opinion.

i have never ever service my rxz in singapore..unless if its engine oil or some minor things...with that 2k..i think u can build ur rxz to play track for two times..like one time do play track till engine blow then rebuild and play track again..blow up and rebuild again..thats how cheap it is to do over at jb..haha

I got ur no. I tell u soon. And da worst part is all I wanted from my bike was for it to run normally not fly even dat dey effed up my bike.

Hey guys juz to share with u guys. Yesterday was my first time at Lorong Bapok JB. After spending more den $2K in Singapore to get my bike running right. I finally gave up on local bike shop. My bike was still pathetic even thou i spent so much on it.

So my cuzzin brought me to dis shop at Lorong Bapok. They tune and set up my bike. And I can say dis is da first time I felt satisfied wif my ride.

But there was certain things dat made me real pissed wif da spore shop dat I went to (Have not yet decide to reveal name) overhaul my engine.

Firstly da shop sold me a 3BS pipe dat dey claim is original n undisturbed but da mech at JB open it up and showed dat it was operaed b4 and there was a welding mark. So da mech lied to me about da pipe.

Secondly da mech claimed dat he put a Y1 Block with size 0.75 on my bike and i happily trusted him but to my dissapointment wen da JB mech open my block, da block was already 1.25 in size. He lied to me about da block even after happily telling me dat if size above 100 is not gd and said will find me a gd block with small size. Knowing dat da size is Big and he cheated saying dat da block was 0.75 even after me asking repeatedly.

Thirdly he sold me a leaky and pierced through Showa Absorber.

I have went to dis particular Spore shop and tally all my receipt spending close to $2K. I trusted the mech but instead dis happened. This particular shop charges premium for their stuff n service. I didnt mind paying premium price as long as it got done right with premium quality but I was so wrong. I have spent so much and ended up wif still a shitty bike. I dun understand Y dey did dis when I trully was willing to pay for a gd service.

I was afraid to go JB to do up my bike prevly but now i feel dat goin to JB (dat particular shop dat I went) was da smartest decision I made. I saw their enthusiasm and determination in doin my bike and meeting wat was promised. Da JB mech Tune my bike den test ride den bring my bike in den open up my carb den retune den fix carb den test ride den open carb n retune again and test again. Dis repeated for as many time it took to meet da optimum setting. In contrast to da few Spore shop i been to who act like superman, juz put any kind of jetting dey tink gd ( mine was fix with jetting from diff bikes) den test ride 5 sec (1 round) den voila dats it. Dey shud be setting up Rossi bike man.

Im sorry if my post is too long but juz to share. I ave yet to decide to reveal da bike shop name. Maybe after I get explaination from dem den I will decide.

Thanks guys

I feel u bro. Lucky for me, once (and only a couple of hundreds burn) kena and I alrdy lose trust wif the mechs in Spore. Like I stated in FB, "Don't usually recommend to do bikes in SG, ridiculous charges wif COCK services..."...

Anyway, noobs ques - how come wen I travelled 120km/h and above(Hey! Somtimes u gotta rush rite?), my handling feels featherly light? Like any slight movement and u feel tat ur front wheel can easily lifted off the ground! I'm using stock 175ml of fork oil on both fork, travel of 130mm and using 18 80/80f. Any idea hw to rid of it? Or is it due of previous pressing of the fork?

Use sport rim macha. Hehe u need some weight infront. Or maybe you lost some weight thats why ur bike feels so light when ur riding at 120km/h...

kalau nk ikot physics kan...i think the weight in front is not enough...not sure if the volume of fork oil determines the light/heavy handling..when u ride fast most of the front weight is shifted behind..put some weights!

Does dropping ur fork more helps then? Coz wif it's weight shifted abit to the front wheel, it'll help rite? Coz wen u mentioned "put some weights!", how do u go abt doin tat?

DAMN!!! Sold off my sport rim alrdy. I don't wanna up my tyre size just yet. If so, I'm gonna stick wif 80/80, but on an "all-weather"(TT100 maybe...)

Oit! U letak tis "spoiler" of ur's at the back, u'll end up changing ur rear tyre every now and then! The weight at the back is alrdy great, we don't need more downforce at the rear. Wat we need is a "splitter" at the front. Lol!

Hmmm... Shall add a bit more fork oil and down my fork a lil bit more and see wat happen lah. Cone bearing takya risau sgt, baru tukar... ;)
