Guys....

 

You're speaking of a 28mm Keihin carb here. I would like to know - mine Z is stock, engine-wise. What size carb can i put on it WITHOUT having to modify anything else? And what would it bring, performance wise?

 

Appreciate any answers.... thanks in advance :)

hai guys..once again to inform u all...myself n pendek will go jb on 3rd dec ard10am which mean on monday..hope u all cn join us anyway.. i want to buy watever necessary 4 my bike liao..n with pendek ard at least he can assist me wats gd n bad..haha (selamataku sama keja department dgn pendek).anyway to confirm,u can sms to pendek or me.. myself hp num 98872574. shahid aka daun keledek.

Geng, on the 3rd aku tak dapat ikut tapi kalau on the 13th aku dah ajak pendek accompany aku gi JB. Kalau kau free on the 13th ikut lagi lah, ramaikan kaki. The more the merrier.

 

Wow, ramai gak yg nk masuk jb, tapi on different days lak. Aku pun nk masuk gak silap on d 15th.

:dozed: ako ni bukan lah kate expert dlm barang moto.. its been my interest lah bikes since my sis got her licence at 16years old. geram seh.. and ako minat godeh godeh moto.. until i :giddy: cannot fix, then i learn the proper way from mechanic..

 

ako banyak project rxz cos ingat nak main sekilo ngan ako nye akaliao bengkok.. but along the way while still learning to bikin moto kasi kuat, he passed away with his beloved rxz FU 1035 L :( the first fuchs silkolene paintwork with no 24.. so tak sempat ako nak try ngan dia.. but managed to try with my RD 125 YPVS instead against his z.. we are back to back only difference.. so now everytime when i ride my ride, is in memories of him.. :cry: sentimental value to me.. ako keluarkan ni z semata-mata for him cos his 135 is not compared to my TZM 150 YPVS back then.. he said, "di keluarkan z sudah.. jadi kiter boleh test saper punye 135 lagi kuat.. bikin tempat sama, tapi cara masing masing.. baru fair sebab dah same c.c..."

so thus till today i hold on to tat memories cos i love him like my very own younger brother..

 

and yes cool-biker i am my own mechanic.. just let me change your engine oil once, then u know what im talkin about.. yah im open for everyone.. ask me anything.. i'll answer to my knowledge learned so far and by exprience wise :deal:

Neway life have to go on for those who r still alive no matter wat bad memories we have, i've had my fair share too :weep: lets not talk bout da past k bro. wat bike u riding sey?how come got coolant and valve all....and i believe what u stated here is only full servicing...not overhaul leh..

 

 

 

haha... sorry to confuse you all... well i asked unique motors how much to overhaul my rxz quite some time ago... they linked me their standard 2b bikes over haul... it is stated kr sp tzm la.... maybe overhaul plus servicing? :faint:

normally from what i heard from most of the old-tai of z riders, they say: "ah ni 5 speed nye z lagik kuat tau tak? :slapforehead: lagi lagi kalau pipe lemang dia dah kopek.. fuh!! sedap.. 6 speed dia potong macam sayur aje.. :faint:

 

:btw: for that modification u need to buy the y-1 clutch basket and 6th gear transmission and a gd mech.. :thumb:

fixing damper kasi motor stable...cause die macam lock ko nye handle bar...so high speed like 160...u tune the damper to full...ur bike wont wobble lah...corner pon sedap...sal if u tune ur damper...u dont steer ur bike using ur hand...but leg...got pro and con too ah...sal nak selit2 susah...but then u have the luxury to strengthen and loosen ur damper...so low speed...loosen it,high speed tune it tight...not practical to use though...

sorry to bring up this topic again... Any other reliable shops you guys recommend me to overhaul my z? my engine is dieing every time want to move of from traffic light and now it is very hard to put neutral. EO color still gold... not black... I dont dare to go above 80 also.... :faint:

Singapore i really not sure...Base on this forum...unique and planet seem like the viewer choice...err...u saying its hard to change to neutral...u might want to adjust ur clutch cable...or prob ur clutch plates have worn out...if clutch plate worn out...just change...no need overhaul...

Hi bros,

 

can I ask .. .my bike dies when I engage first gear even though I clutch in fully, this only happens when the engine is cold and only have this problem recently. The bike also tend to 'creep ' forward when clutch in... What could be the problem?
