stock pipe u cant expect it to sound sedap bro.. trust me it will take for u

some time to get used to the performance of standard 3bs.. moto for sure "bobok"..

 

now bout the sound like tin kosong thingy.. i believe u did a self check on the silencer and claimed tat its the mesh type.. did u happen to realise is there any fiber packing left in your muffler/end can?? if no, then, get it repacked with new fiber, then get the standard 3bs silencer at any moto shop.. problem should/will be solved

 

Bro there was a post previously about ur "personal" silencer (light pick up and gd top end)...

If i use that type of silencer boleh??? Or is that for operated pipes???

 

About the fiber... There was previously a fiber in the pipe but i decided to pack one more layer... hehehe :cheeky:

But still the sound macam tin kosong... haiz...

hi bros... i'm having some battery problem with my RXZ.

I used to use dry cell battery. It went dead last week than i changed to wet battery (those need batt water)

but now my bikes lights dont work properly. when i turn on signal lights than brake, my signal light will remain on and will dim.

What might be the problem?

 

And also what kind of brake pads you use for rxz? mine leaves alot of brake dust and the front brake will start to have squeaky sounds.

usually i go to my mech and tell him the problem. he will use the "air gun" to clear the front braking area than will be ok after a while sound comes back :(

got the add?cheap as in how cheap?the cheapest quote i got 2day was at defu.he quoted me 80bux jus for the tank but 2 colors(+laquer lah)...coz i told him i wanted my tank the top part green den d sides white together wid my side fairings...den the head n 'dagu' i tot of spraying my self.

if thats the case ade chance your fuel indicator line is loose.. try to check the green and black line connected to your tank.. if its loose or full of rust..

 

im free on the 27 morning till late afternoon.. cos i ne on night duty.. u want anything can gimmie a call.. i get it checked for u.. the lease u must know your piston size.. ok..

the personal silencer can use if your pipe has the tapak inside for your silencer.. yep it works best on operated pipe..

 

as for the fiber did u scrape out the old ones inside?? it still sounds like tin cos your using the mesh type.. it will only be standard if u get the standard 3bs silencer cos that one got stopper.. u want can come to my place i sell u mine cos no more using.. cheap 5bucks, put in new fiber 2 bucks.. holler me

I bought my standard 3bs exhaust at Lim Ah Boy (Sg)...

 

Total cost was $95 inclusive of labour...

It comes with the mesh silencer (which i found out to be making weirdest noise)

& one layer of fiber covering the silencer..

 

Guess I gotta make do with whats on my bike, good or bad. (as long it doesn't give me any BIG problems... ) :cry:

how come u suddenly know of changing the tzm clutch housing?? yamaha agent sellin 110bucks w/o installation.. racing springs not sure where to get here..

okies for the condenser is your signal probs.. try to change bulb for the tail light.. if it still is not workin then standby rectifier

Bro got problem with my zek, my bike very hard to reach 100km/h everytime reach 105-110km/h got this unpleasant sound from the block like want to seize...i change my jetting size to 230 still same lei... drop gear oso same only noise loud tapi tk jalan...wat might be the problem?

If ur exhaust packing with carbon then just head to a trusty Mech to get it De-Carbonized ah....

 

Guess it saves $$$ than having to buy a new exhaust everytime carbon builds up.... Right???? :cheeky:

My RXZ just got stolen today. Do keep your bikes properly secured, a padlock at the brake disc is a good and simple additional precaution as the RXZ ignition is really easy to tamper with. In the meantime, do help me keep a lookout for my stolen bike, thanks!

Hi all members,

 

We were informed by bro "theforce" that his red colour Yamaha RXZ (FQ5164S) was stolen today (26/12/07) from his place's Multi-storey carpark in Ang Mo Kio Ave 3, Blk 347A.

 

Key characteristic is that it tend to 'slant' more than other bikes when parked as the side stand was welded back at a low position. (no main stand)

 

Fellow bikers do kindly keep a lookout for this stolen bike.

my pipe oso got scratches on the chrome end can part. so might as well change the whole thing. -SwQ- offered me at a price half of urs, brand new too...now juz neeed to wait for his reply
