Leceh la. If i take out main stand, want to wash later my bike will topple.

Funny ah, when I bought this bike, my side stand got extra metal underneath, you know something like horse-shoe? Don't know which Apek go and put. But now I cut it already, borrowed my friends metal saw. Now thinking how to make it smooth.:thumb:

to make it smooth u can try to file it using a file...

other den dat if u got grinder better, use the grinder machine to grind it smooth..

hope dis will help u..

Hi :)

Mine got that too!! Previous owner welded somethin gadditional under the side stand to make the bike stand more "straight". And by now it's really helpful because i made it higher in the rear :)

By the way mine Z got no main stand... was broken when i got it (one leg missing) so i removed it. Don't need it :)

Best regards.....

Well, it actually depends on how we ride.

But usually 5 litres can last for about 1500+-km.

But if aggressive riding, petrol will eat more.

So, it will be lesser than 1500km. I guess so.

For my bike, usually if I pump 8 litres,

It can last me about 2500+ km.

Around 4 days of everday usage.

(going to work, going back home, chill out)

Hope this helps.

Welcome to the Z clan!

Hi,

Anybody got idea for good tyres on an 18" Sport Rims?

I can only seem to find Metzeler. Any others to recommend?

Thanks!:thumb:

Not too sure about the 80/80, maybe the others are using it...

Ride Safe Guys....

:thumb: :thumb: :thumb:

ya, i using 80/80 last time

OK.

I know 90/80 does exist. But what I mean is, does it exist for TT900GP?

Currently I'm using Dunlop TT900, F80/80, R90/80. Can corner like motogp rider, but always get my main stand scratch the road, also like Titanic. Troublesome!

Thanks!:thumb:

tt900gp got 90/80

Hi.

@SparkerS1

Yes i compared Ppetrol in Thailand. Sure the petrol is different from country to country...... just my local experience.

How i know the engine gets hotter? Physics. 95 releases a lot more energy (kilo-joule) when burning, hence higher temperature - hence hotter engine. Check Google if don't believe me (i don't force anyone to believe me, i just try to do good).

About 2T mine does NOT jam, neither did any before the Z, and i "whack" them a lot. Why? Good 2T, high pre-mix ratio (1:25) on pre-mix and high oil ratio on autolube - good 2T doesn't smoke as much and can set it higher. Those engines are MADE to "be whacked" as they are high-performance engines - but it is also recommended that for long-distance rides, or riding with high load (pillon, luggage, up the mountains) the 2T has to be set higher.

Oh, again @SparksterS1

17 years vs. 30 years - i have no problem respecting people that rider longaer than me, after all most of what i know i learned from such people. However if it comes to RXZ, i may be the newbie here and only own my Z for two years but i did make close to 27.000 kilometers on it already, it has done 69.000 alltogether at least and in my immediate neighbourhood is one with over 100.000 kilometers already. I know the Z engine and how to run it well....... it's a two stroke after all :)

I think my blood is pre-mix 1:25..... have to ask my doctor next time :)

With kind regards.....

Thanh

hello, thanks for the explanation.

but premix 1:25 is too high for SG usage, surely will kena summon:angel:

bro the info if using 18 " sport rims pressure? i put 195 220 front rear respective.

and someone said these:

Big sprocket is not recommended for Long Distance travel.

Small sprocket is not recommended for Heavy riders, or riders which always carry pillion.

so if i always carry pillion and maybe go long distance on weekends? maybe from pasiris to central area is tat considered long distance? since im changing my sprocket soon, may need the info from u guys. :)

for ur tire pressure its up to personal preference, what i have stated is standard rxz tire pressure for spoke rims, there are diff tire pressures depending of type of rims, type of tires, weight of rider etc

for sprocket, u mean big/small is for front or back?? i abit confused about ur statement.

If u should want to change your carb to tzm or kr.

My advice is not to throw or sell your Z carb...

Further more my 125z friends are using RXZ carb,

which shows how valuable our carb is...

Cose at the end of the road the size of ur carb doesn't matter,

the true power lies inside...

Ride safe bro..

for back. cos i know front is 15, 16 normally ppl use but behind i heard from those who use 30+ to 40+. understand now? sorry ah i not good at asking questions. :)

Normally front can be 15-16 more or less.

But for the rear, it depends on your feel and your rims.

For 18", recommend 42 - 46.

For 17", recommend 38 - 42

Average, 18" = 42

Average, 17" = 40

This is just a guide. You have to test it out and feel it.

Feel the pickup or drag, feel the speed or crawl.

For my current setup, F16/R42 on 17".:thumb:

Yes you can. I changed mine to the R1 type foot rest. No comments on the feel, as long as can put leg and not look like apek, ok already.:thumb:

That's the thing. I dont have any of those.

if i not mistaken u can get a file cheap2 wad from those hardware shop..even mustapa ctr also got sell at the hardware section..less den 10bux uh file.

if grinder is expensive uh..

alternatively u can go down to any workshop/mechanic and ask the to do it for u.

maybe during ur next servicing or wad lah so u no nid pay for the grinding.

if u wanna do it the free n fastest way den while riding on the road use ur left leg to kick down the sidestand so tat it grinds against the road...

:bounce: dun let it grind too long wait ur stand become shorter....

n make sure no matas behind u coz d last method i told u will create sparks while riding...

so up to u to choose which method u wanna do...im just trying to help

:bounce: !PEACE!:bounce:
