Good afternoon rxz bros. I'm having some major problems right now with my rxz. My headlight is not working because the socket does not sit tightly with the head lamp. I tried to fix my own but after going on bumpy roads it comes off again. I know i wont have any problem only if i was using original head fairings. Mine is the LAB ones. Hiaz. New semester going to start and also i need to bring bike for inspection by the the end of this month. I don't mind changing the whole head fairing to original ones. (if can find.) All replies are much appreciated and lastly ride safe :D

Yeah babeh. Just like me wantin to go on a race track... Eh.... actually no need, u guys wanna feel a race tarmac rite? Go to Marina Bay wher they held the F1 street race there. Haha... And no my dear lil bro, they don't open 24/7. Mampos mech kat situ, everyday do bike only without any sleep.....:cheeky:

Abt the track, yeah I'm waitin for the day when DK would be free to go to PG.

PS. Do we really need a race suit? And full face helmet??? Cannot just ride there wif singlet and slippers ah? I'm riding an apek bike wat???:confused:

no need racing suit lah..as long u hv ff helmet,l.jaket,knee guard,racing glove n racing boot should be enuf..

I haven't posted for a while, too... never get reply notification anymore!!

 

Anyway today on the way to work i hit a nice number on my meter again..... my Bulldozer is still going strong as always, just slight piston ring rattle, i will get new piston when reach 80,000 kilometers :)

this shop is located along yio chu kang rd.it bears the name off yamaha agent..he said my pipe is thailand chamber pipe,my conrod n bearing gone case,den he say he change everything for me.bt i scared coz his shop got alot of spare bikes inclding rxz,skali he take those scrap bike parts n change to mine i die...

apekyano u did at spc pasir ris how many days?he change the parts to ori or local?how's ur bike aft tat?can pay installment?hahaha...

syam i oso tot of doing in jb,bt scared kena chopped coz i dun haf a regular mechanic there.i always hop shop there...den oso i scared wait aft agreed on d price when i come take d bike d price change...wah now the rate is 237rm/100sgd...so 800rm= abt 337.60sgd...so syam the parts local or ori?what parts did they change for u?

abt trying on track,i THINK D.F shud haf doned it b4 on his rxz.he shud be able to enlighten u more abt his experiance there.i've only went down to p.g to see the track day but nvr see any rxz on that particular day.i only saw mostly cubs like spark135,125z n krr...other den dat is all big bikes like super4,drz n some 600cc bikes...but syam i think u shud haf a try at it just for fun...just get the feeling being on a race track wid a racesuit n of course ur beloved Z.im sure it'll be a great experiance.u dun haf to really race wid others what,just go for the experiance...

Sori to hear abt ur fren and his R6. But guess wat? I just find out tat from my wife tat she also did went to PG once. Together wif her old R6, apparently she followed her old timer, wak2 on bikes frens. Showed me the pics of her corner "maut" and she only had her black leather jacket, jeans and some very very old-skool lookin full face helmet and riding boots and gloves of course. "Don't hav to be so fancy wif "rjay full racing suit" or those expensive stuffs", she said. "As long meet the safety criteria can already!". (Hmmmm... Is she tryin to tell me somethin???)o_O

 

I guess it's true wat she said, wasted if ur gonna crash anyway. And still suffer in the end. And yeah I guess u hav to know ur bike really well before u decided to "GOOOOOOOO!!!!!" wif ur bike. Plus hav to learn the track too, every corners and straights before u can actually "race" on it. Like wat the F1 drivers does in our S'pore street tracks. U don't just plunged into a stagnant pool of water rite, not knowin how deep it is or got crocs or not? Hehe... Got to test water first....:angel:

 

Anyway bro, askd for u the price already and he said he can't just estimate the price cause he'll use back the parts tat still can be use for a long time and charge u only for the parts tat needs to be changed. Can choose either local parts or original. Tat's how they charge us ther. Unlike some shop in S'pore where they hav "special packages" and change everythin brand new. Don't know original parts or not...:cheeky:

 

wah ur wifey not bad uh...mix wid otai wak2 ride big bikes sumore...powderful uh ur wifey..when i saw her (d one n only time during our very 1st outing) i tot she normal2 next door housewife who owns a 2b only...now heard from u she got ride 400cc and 600cc,plus got play track at p.g sumore...wah powderful uh...haha...syam den shud be no prob for u to try p.g uh...since ur wifey got xperiance there she can coach u wad...wah very shocking story uh abt ur wife riding experiances...wah KUDOS to her man...kencang sey org rumah syam...(means envious of syam's wifey)

alah those road ard marina bay and suntec area i see like same only as other roads...like no diff uh...i everyday go werk use tat rd...

hmm syam which shop u asked at uh?now if i were to send it to jb for overhaul,it's gonna be troublesome for me to return back to sg n back to agl to collect my bike...

haiz...problem...problem....how wonderful if my gf has a license like ur wifey...nowadays oso alot of gerls riding eh...bt mostly ride auto bikes or chopper or cubs....y gerls dun like rxz eh???

cheap uh...coz so far i ask at that yck shop he say 450,den u say spc pasir ris 320...more den 100bux diff sia..to b precise,its 130 cheaper sey...haiz nvr my bike still moving so its ok nt overhaul now n keep shopping for a reasonable,affordable,efficient and trusted werkshop.hehehe...if bike die off in sg i not werried,but if in jb(CHOI) i die together wid my bike....lol...

It's an apek2 bike! Ask urself tis, why would young gerls nowadays ride an apek2 bike? Hehe... I usually go to Panjang and sometimes to Along. Depend on my mood and which shop is open or not packed. Hee... Anyway, my wifey said she already retired from all her crapped last time. She is now tryin to be a normal2 next door housewife. Haha...:faint:

Haha... Cool! Eh... Is it me or ur meter reads till 200km/h??? Mine read till 180km/h only sia...:cheeky:

Hi :)

 

Yeah my meter goes to 200..... it's the second generation RXZ in Thailand, the even older one (that originally had the Lemang pipe, Japan-type RXZ) have meters that go to 180 and RPM's to 12,000, both needles rest at 9 o'clock. But second generation (the one i have, although it's modified to look like first generation) has the meters go to 200 km/h and rpm's to 14,000 with the needles resting at 6 o'clock.

 

Maybe because this type RXZ is specially powerful? I don't know, but the speed meter cheats somewhat - it shows too much. My Z is tuned up (150cc, ported etc) and, according to the digital speedo i got there too, can run above 180 km/h but the original speedo already shows 200 then, even though i have stock size wheels and tyres 18 inch.

 

Some day i have to clean the dial though.... it's SO dirty, but i'm just too lazy to take out the wind shield, head light and cockpit just to clean the thing :)

Do u happened to know what part they change for u and the parts are made in where?

Spark plug can last at least 10000km.

 

EO one yr no need to change also can, can change every 6 months if u wan, or when the EO level is low(can just top up abit).

tyres front 180kpa rear 215-220kpa for me.

Petrol Tank Capacity- 13 litres

Dry Weight- 106KG

Battery- 12V 35W/30W

 

NGK B8ES/BR8ES/BR9ES

Spark Plug can last at least 10000km

2T engine oil, buy what u can afford, as long bike got 2T can already.

 

Tire Pressure- Front 185kPa Rear 215kPa (For 18" spoke Rims) Distance better

 

Front 200kpa Rear 225kpa (For 17" alloy sport Rims) Cornering better

 

****tire pressure varies depending on riding condition****no right or wrong

 

Tires:

TT900GP gd for distance, BT39 gd for cornering, TT900 not so lasting as TT900GP.

 

Pilot sporty dry weather very gd, wet weather when lane splitting abit unstable.

Wears off super fast

 

Tires Size u choose yourself.

 

Engine Oil one yr nv change also can, cos only lubricate gearbox only.

Top up when necessary or change EO if EO diluted.
