Ok guys as most of you is aware that we gonna make another history to Seremban. The trip to Seremban is cancelled as none of us know the way there. BUT, we are replacing it with Malacca trip again.

 

To those who miss the the very first history care to join in for the 2nd trip???? Kindly post your interest here, currently got few confirm riders in the list. ONCE THE INTEREST GROW, WE WILL HOST A MEETING FOR THIS TRIP FIRST BEFORE PROCEEDING. Please note that there will be limited bikers needed for this trip and the amount will be max 15 riders excluding pillion(those intend to have pillion got to update us during the meeting)

Errr guys, a friend of mine from another thread is having a small gathering cum makan cum rounding this Saturday 03/01/2009. It's open to all type of bike. Good afternoon guys, was browsing thru and seems like u guys gg for a Melaka Road Trip.

Powe lah! Thumbs up for the trip. Juz in case if any riders have doubts, it is never abt the machine, rather the rider mentality. Juz as long u service ur bike properly b4 the trip, any bike can go anyware. Even KSR made it to Laos.

 

Juz sumtink to motivate u guys. 2 of my frens juz rode up to Terengganu. 1 RXK & 1 RXZ. Happy reading guys and Happy New Year to all.

Anyway, special new year shout out to Philip for comin down and rescuin me when I got stuck @ AYE,pushin my bike to the nearest bike shop(while I sat on the comfort of his his newly overhauled bike!) and temanin me to wash bikey2 together2. Hee... (Tiang block patah lah babe...) And also to Chin who die2 wanna come down and rescue me eventhough she's goin to work in abt 30mins on tat day! And for temanin me to go into JB to hav my bike repaired(offficially 1.50!!!)...

So yeah, thank u to these 2 RX-Z fanatics!!!

-all the way NSH,no exits to other attractions/location till we reach melaka rite??

-us 125z,petrol quite troublesome compare to other kups,wouldn't it slow u guyz down??

-wats the average speed travel w/ the convoy??

-once reach there,our accomodation hows it gonna be,tompang umah atap ke atau hotel serabai??

-roughly wats the costs that is mandatory for this trip??

 

Ur ans will be helpful for the 125Z riders decision in joining you guyz for this trip.

Just to answer some of your questions...

 

If u bother to read wat is posted, we are actually going to have a meet-up before we go for the trip to discuss all this stuffs.....

 

AND YES.... NSHW is a boring road all the way up to melaka.... dun worry... u get to see cars and buses and lorries zooming past u at high speeds...

 

We are still working out the total cost, accomodation, and average travelling speed....

to answer some of ur question.

 

1. there will be an R&R in between 60km from one another approx.so if any of u guys need to stop,thats the best place to do.

 

2. from what i know,125z is fitted with 5 litre tank right?if ur bike never mod or anything then i think it can reach ard at least 120km full tank?thats enough to go from gelang patah to machap i think..but nonetheless..each of u guys bring 2 1.5L bottle drinks say POKKA or COKE and fill them up fully at gelang patah before proceeding to melaka.so in case theres no petrol station...u can use that for awhile...dont worry the bottle wont be eaten up by the petrol so fast.

 

3. average speed my guess would be around 90km/j to 110km/j.in the first trip we went mostly 100km/j,the return trip we went 110km/j mostly and we went for about 120km without stopping.dont worry if ur engine is ok it wont be overheat and seize or whatever,i went there with my conrod shake liao..till now still ok..haha.besides,we have something in common...our engine is air cooled.

 

fyi,we clocked in nearly 200km when we reach melaka.so i guess thats like from wdlds to changi airport to wdlds to changi airport to wdlds back..hahaha

I think it's quite true lah. The distance in between each R&R would be approximately 60km, judgin frm my RXZ meter anyways.

Coz normally i travel up north, 2 stations stop 1 time to pump is about 140km.... estimate..
