hmmm watever it is.. wat i believe is tat u never open/ hands on before on your carb lah..

 

well its very easy to troubleshoot actually really.. wat happen is u never really actually did the proper alignment of e pin jet slider.. if u see properly theres a groove to it.. and if u really do it proper, the groove should meet this small needle which is hidden in the carb and sit..

carb lining is not so easily eaten as its only role is, it only goes up and down the chamber when u open throttle or close. but rubbish if u ask me. tat senario would only happen like 0.5 out of 10..

second hand carb for 70?? or 17?? wah if u buy 70 tat is close to the price of a first hand genuine carb.. kanna chop liao..

How about mine? I am still waiting for Syamitomo to get back to me on the meter set matter, he doesn't seem to be online very often? I offered him to send the meter set and the stickers together but he hasn't responded since.

 

I have gotten my rear disc brake set for Destiny in the morning today, in the form of a complete Yamaha VR-R I'll transfer the brake system to Destiny and the drum brake into the VR-R, then have to fix some things there and sell it again. It's a nice bike but i like RXZ more, and right now i really don't need three bikes (two RXZ and one VR-R).

After servicing my carb last sat, i dun seem to able to throttle smoothly. I oso cant go more than 90km/h. After another set of servicing on Mon n Tue, my bike cant go more than 80km/h.. Wat seems to be da problem?? Below is wat I've done to my bike over the 3 servicing:

 

Sat: Change engine oil, spark plug, gantong and service carb

Mon: Servicing piston, change spark plug and service carb

Tue: Install air filter.

 

Pls help me.. Im really at a loss rite nw...

hmm, its for sure your carb not tune up properly. because if something wrong with your engine on mon your mechanic should have told you so he can earn more money. have u monitor your engine noise? does it get much rougher?? 2t pump werking ??

to keep u in the dark bro, was a bit busy runnin ard lately. But don't worry abt it, I was abt to post to u tat I'm goin to strip my wife's Z tis coming weekend and I'll definitely hav the meter in my mind.

 

Abt the sticker, I can easily liase wif Pendek to get hold of ur sticker(10 pieces of it rite?). But not sure how am I gonna pay for it coz haven't gotten any news from ur newly made Spore fren...

 

But yeah, just hold on to ur horses ait, u'll definitely get ur meterset soon enough... Will update u...

Hmmm... Reminded me of 1 fellow forumer's past experience. Got bike serviced at "trusted" mechanic, mechanic forgot to put back 2t hose, piston seized, rider confused and send back shop to check, mechanic said piston seized due to not enough 2t, got rider to pay for the whole rebore, piston, piston rings and service... And yes, another running in session, tat's the worst...

Great to hear from you Yeah i am eagerly awaiting that because work on Destiny continues, albeit slowly..... next week i gonna do the rear brake and the rear indicators (LED, i'll build those myself) so that meter set would be a good add-on once i'm at it

 

Regarding the stickers, as far as i know Pendek did receive the money already from Supervivid to whom i sent it through PayPal, so the stickers are paid and awaiting transfer to me Yes, 10 pieces it was.

i wanna change my rear suspension , currently using the stock one. so which suspension is good for RXZ , i heard yss suspension is good . Do u guys have other brands to recommend me . Basically i want to jack up my rear suspension to make it higher .

how to maintain a healthy engine if i always ride it for long distance? eg, east to west..

 

i only know using more 2T will help..

 

you think using bigger main jet will give the engine less stress when maintaining high speed for a long distance? if yes how big?

 

i just bought a rxz and yesterday i maintain 110km.h on my meter all the way from PIE jurong until exit upper serangoon road.. i feel that my piston ring is noise after doing the speed..

 

i am using 18in rim with 15 x 39 spocket...

stock gets soft after awhile due to wear and tear.. here are some i can recommend u:

 

-KONI

-SHOWA (real super 4 gantung)

-MAKIDA BRONZE now black (hydraulic oil type)

-heavy duty ones (many brands)

-Q-BEE (fat spring adjustable) at AH BOY goin for $50

 

things to take note bro, no point jackin up the rear end as u tend to SHAKE AH SHAKE when goin fast and corner not tat stable also..

talking abt engines and engine repair...? why do people in sg especially..when they overhaul their engine they have to do "running in"?

how come my mechanic when he overhauls my engine he says"dun bother with running in" instead he säys "go and whack the bike to the max" this i dunt understand...and true enuf..when ii do...i dunt get any piston jam or seize. the bike runs very well....and better i mite add. excuse my lack of experience....this is a question i've been meaning to ask....

boy oh boy.. gosh 15 is not tat wise to use bro.. strain on the engine with high vibration.. use 16t front can liao.. save mileage also.. bigger main jet leads to more petrol consumption.. so no point.. unless u need more speed for tat distance then i reckon u to up your main jet

i intended to 'service' my carb myself(after being taught by blurchaoz) but then after fixing that thing i on my bike but the throttle like cannot close liddat...always open(rev) wenngggggggggg liddat....then ah idk wat to do liao i call angker fix my bike thot throttle jam or what but then ah actually ah angker said my carb hancus liao need to change..then ah i got 2nd hand one ah for seventee box then ok liao....angker said my carb lining sua eaten so the slider jam cannot close anymore..donno ah true or not but the carb still with me...anything can sell back..haiya...next time dowan to service myself oready leh

Other than that bro pendek also got more options, its just a matter of $$$..
