kekawan, my bike very slow ah. my previous post no one reply , anyway its slow like very slow, not i want to make my bike go race, but sometime or most of the time even apek on vespa and rxk can kilas me.

 

on eway, i only do 60-70. 80 and above, my bike very noisy, and 80 is at rpm 7.5k.

 

is it because of my big tyre? but i see some people bigger tyre also faster.

i carry pillion, no pillion, same only, very heavy.

tyre pump every 2 days. chain oiled using diy chain oiler. once a month i clean.

sprocket is 15-38. carb serviced also same.

 

should be engine problem already? i want to go mech but scared later they ask this change this and that, i also bodoh bodoh just change, so i ask here first la.

1) Kau bawak motor jejak 80km/h,rpm kau 6.5 tapi kau nye motor gegar tk?

 

a) Kalau dier gegar terok ader byk reason asal...First,pipe kau berat.Penuh ngan carbon. Angin tk leh kuar ngan betul.So in turn kau nye piston goyang.Tu menyebabkn motor vibrate.

 

b) 2nd reason takot crankshaft kau da terempit sangat ngan housing kau.Pelan2 kau nye housing makan,motor kau vibrate n bising mcm nk roboh.

 

c) Third,Kalau motor kau tk leh pegi takot setting carb kau besar sgt.spocket kau besar.Tu yg buat motor pick up kau kuat tapi distance mau rabak.

 

d) Kau boleh antar motor g full service.Tapi tk byk kedai motor amik kesah asal motor kau tk leh pegi.Drg tau drg servicekn kau motor kau mcm motor rxz lain. Cari kedai betol2.Tanye members kau ader yg recommend tak.

4 me alignment does nt effect swaying... most probaly ur cone bearing area ,fork bracket the black colour which they call T... i dont knw hw to say or call it... or may b ur body dah lari...

i also got the swaying effect, can feel in especially in the front.

a)pipe berat, mungkin juga, kekadang rasa nye mcm nak wack all the way, mcm pipe tersumbat, rimas bro. and mana nak decarbonize locally?

 

b)crankshaft tu ape? haha.

 

c)zaman spocket besar, pick up tak kuat, distance takde. da tukar kecik, pick up tak kuat, distance masih takde. atleast rpm turun la juga. carb setting pon kedai apek biasa anuhkan.

 

d)da tny members, tapi ramai da upgrade motor besar, zaman drg bawa rxz sume pegi kedai apek biasa yg aku kekadang singgah juga la. aku taknak buat motor aku pegi ala racing, atleast boleh kejar pakcik2 dan apek2 yg kat expressway da syukur. haha.

 

4 me alignment does nt effect swaying... most probaly ur cone bearing area ,fork bracket the black colour which they call T... i dont knw hw to say or call it... or may b ur body dah lari...

 

cone bearing is the one that can be tightened eh? but my swaying effect feels especially obvious when i pillion, if not not so bad..

Bro,if your fork leaking,i suggest u just change the whole fork.Cos once it start to leak,no matter how u repair them,it will still leak again.This is very common problem for RXZ as i come across the thread somewhere in this forum.Changing to 2nd hand original fork is good enough.Lately theres a few riders selling their RXZ stuff in the garage sales section, maybe u can check it out.I also find it very tempting to buy but too bad, budget constraint to the max liao.Cheers for RXZ bro..

Bro just some opinion,You change sprocket size 38 doesnt mean automatically your bike smooth oon high speed.You need to know your bike engine,Boleh angkat tak sprocket kecik.Lagi satu RXZ common wear n tear if you like to rempit always,Piston ring,Con-rod,2T pump kecik tak?Abih lu whack 130 takkan 2T kecik bro at least mau setting dekat setengah thread.2T jgn lokek pakai fully synthetic low smoke,Engine oil semi dah okay.Apa2 brg mcm sprocket,Pipe,Jetting semua nak kena tune angin balik.Skrg gua pakai 15/42 100kmh rpm 6.5,Pinjam member nyer Faito 415 15/39 100kmh rpm baru nak cecah 6 tapi lu pikir balik kat Singapore ni memadai ke pakai sprocket size 38 kebawah?Lu rembat 130kmh kat highway pas tu pikiran ade speed trap tak saman ke.Pada gua combination 16/39 atau 15/40 dah cukup makan kat SG ni unless lu ulang alik JB.tERUS TERANG gua ckp kedai kat lor bapuk tu tak semua pandai setting angin.Lu try carik bdk kampung yang ade kenalan mechanic bwh pokok.Diorang nyer setting ade baik sikit.Lagi satu faktor rantai,Kalau size besar pun tak bagus sebab enjin kecik rantai besar mana ade ummph?Pakai size 415 dah ok color lu punya suka nak gold ke,biru ke.Gua ade satu kwn pakai racing boy 8 batang 18 inci depan 80/80 dunlop TT900 blakang 90/90 tapi lari mcm pelesit gak.

Take it a step at a time bro, jgn stress. But wat I can see frm ur specs, ur big tyre and ur small rear sprocket doesn't gum well. Diff RXZ, diff performance, u can't expect them to be all the same. Since u serviced ur carb alrdy, check the sound and vibs of ur bike, u don't noe wat might be going on in there. By tis, I meant ur block, piston, piston rings; any calar, wear and tear on these thing might lead to poor combustion = power gone. If tats all fine and well, u might wanna hav a last look at ur pipe before going for the all expensive overhauling... Hope tis helps...

Swaying effect eh? Try to shake ur tyre side to side. If wobble I guess ur bearing or seal or ur hub even are busted. Wat type of rim/tyre ur using bro? Coz I only experience tis "swaying" effect wen using my wife's 18" tayar sotong on aluminium lidi rim...

Not advisable. Wat if the 2nd hand fork leaks the next day? It's back to square one...
