I need more power from my 125 Gmax. What do I need to get to improve power output and what are the costs involved?

Hmm... more power? As in top speed or better pick up? You may wat to try changing the weight of your rollers for a start. Next is changing your variator and clutch to those aftermarket ones. For example Mallosi or Polini. And the most major one would be to change your block to those higher capacity ones. I believe you would need to change your carburator as well... :p Well these are just those "normal" upgrades that we do to our auto scooters (not confined to the G-Max) in singapore. Hope these help

WhiteOryx,

more top end power. What weight would the rollers need to be? I didn't know Mallosi or Pollini make variators for the Gmax. What size carb would I need?

Hi, if you need more power, use heavier rollers for top end. stock rollers are 13g, use 15g for more top end. 11g is for faster pick-up.

Try asking the agent to bring in aftermarket parts for G-Max scoots. For example, rollers, clutch systems. There are brands like "POP" & "DR Pulley" which manufacture aftermarket parts for the G-Max scooters.

I have tried roller weights of 15g which is fitted onto my ex-G-max 150cc.

Top end can go up to 130km/h. (depends on bike's condition)

Currently, I m trying out DR Pulley's sliding rollers on my G-Max 200cc.

Try using G-Max 150cc jetting instead of changing the whole carb.

Hi, the fitting of the sliding rollers are the same as the normal types. Yes. of course. 15g rollers can be fitted onto yr 125cc. The 125cc n 150cc shares everytin the same, except for the cylinder block size only.

Is the Gmax engine the same as the GY6 engine?

Same engine family. But they did some improvement to it to fit on the G-Max.
