Anyone knows the current insurance price of a 600cc first hand bike for a 22 year old?

it actually depends on the brand and model of the bike oso..

nt forgettin whic type of insurance - 1st, 2nd and 3rd.

diff brands- yamaha, honda etc..

n

diff types,model - sport, cruiser..etc..

have basically diff pricing..

but i think roughly abt $1000 maybe..

me ridin r6-05, 23 paying tat price..

I just reach 22, they quote me $1.8k for a 1000cc & $1.3k for a 600cc first hand bikes. I grab the 600cc, the 1000cc insurance cannot make it sia!

Either go to a bike shop that allows your insurance company (w or w/o surcharge) or juz buy it from them with new insurance.....

can carry on, becoz u need to close ur ol insurance on the ol bike..

jus tell the insurance co. tat u changing bike, but staying on the same insurance co. they will calculate for u with ncd rebate la(depending on hw long u were with them and hw much rebate u gt la)..

Err...then that's a good thing loh.

 

You'll get discounts on the basic premium.

1 yr, 5%

2yr, 10%

so..depends on ur time of riding la..

if u new bike in the 3rd yr..

u can carry on the premium discount..

so even thou ur insurance might be damn ex coz new bike, bigger cc and stuff..

u still gt discount..

i shall wait till 2 years later

so taht with 10per cent

getting a 1000cc will be cheaper ..

provided that my body still can take it

anyway insurance is a bell curve..

its get cheap when ur 25 n abve i think..

cheaper when 30 n abv..

rises again when ur 50 hehe..
