bad man, it fell on to a kerb so the scratches are long and have to do some patching too.

Hi mikaoba01 bro ,

You might want to check a spray painting shop for bikes @ Ubi Industrial Park .

It is situated on the same stretch as First Motor .( somewhere in the centre ).

I can't recall the name of the shop though.

Are the Honda panniers for the 6th gen and 5th gen different?

Think the panniers are only for 6th gen

unless you want mod the brackets to fit 5th gen

hi WingZero bro ,

i guess this is a common issue with Gen 6 headlights bulbs blown (low beam).

i had mine replaced twice.

yet to determine what causes the bulbs to blow

but nevertheless , enjoy ur ride ... my bro !!!

maybe u might wanna try doing 2 headlight switch for both the low beams. switch both off during warm up etc, and just alternate between them everyday. this is what I've been doing all along.

Hi to all members, did a few search and read up on overseas site and came about this term ''SMOG Emissions '' for VFR800. wondering what is this about? There was a rider who install a plate, maybe is to block off the emissions. claiming to increase performance and save some weight. wondering what is this about and is it effectives?

how accurate is your fuel gauge meter? i suspect my new ride is not accurate. i am only 95km into riding with my full tank and the meter drop 3 bars already.

05 model VFR gen 6... new to this bike but i see the bike make me worry is there any wrong with my bike..

why you worry so much? no matter how many bars drop at whatever rate, you're still gonna reach reserve at about the same mileage. bike manufacturers are always pessimistic when computing fuel levels because they don't want you to run out of petrol in the middle of nowhere. you'd rather have the bike show 6bars left after you've travelled 295km? don't care about the bars. you should be more interested in your fuel consumption cos it a useful tool for diagnostics and refuelling. too high a fuel consumption can mean your tyres are underinflated, spark plug not firing, engine oil too thick etc. too low a fuel consumption can mean your bike is running too lean etc. it can also aid you to plan your fuel stops while touring. cheers.
