CBF too new for you. $4 OTR is quite hard unless you want to try 2nd hand wave. Cos YBR brand new machine price is $4k excluding your insurance

Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at an Elingsh uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer is at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a toatl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae we do not raed ervey lteter by it slef but the wrod as a wlohe

No leh. Bike Production quoted me $3.7K( without IU) OTR for YBR. In the end, I decided to get CBF150 $4.5K from them... Had to throw in extra $156 for the IU. BUT I 33yrs old and 10+ yrs of riding experience with zero demerit points over the entire riding period so the insurance is cheaper by a few dollars at $200+?

YBR and CBF probably same top speed at 110+km/h. But CBF heavier by 30+kg... so more stable at high speed or windy condition.

TA200 is not suitable for a brand new rider. Especially if it is a brand new bike with the lanjiao IRC stock tires. Handling is already poor and they throw in farked up stock tires...zzz. I skidded twice in my entire 10+ years of riding. 1st time was oil patch on a extremely tight roundabout at NTU exit. This was on a TZM150 but I don't blame it. 2nd time was wet road and fishtailed when braking normally on a TA150. AND YES THIS TIME I BLAME THE BIKE.

:cheeky:

YBR seems the best choice for your budget I think. Top speed just nice for running from tailgating lorries but not high enough to be reckless.

Ya, rxz's top speed can easily reach 120 without it vibrating too much. FC wise it is about 30-35 km/L depending on how you ride and your type of rxz.

Thanks for ur input 5tr4ng3r!

I dun wish to speed.. 2mths back I was driving home n saw an accident scene of a poor macdonald's delivery guy. Blood all over the road.. bike still untouched on floor n area taped up by police.. Poor guy.. gone liao..

I agree with you guys that gd pick up is gd to get out of sticky situations like bloody tail gating speedsters.

Which RXZ model is the better FC one ah? Is an FS plate RXZ the new/old mod? Anyone know of this new catalyser thing.. what's the diff ah??

Thankew!!

I think the catalyzer models are those models that writes RX-Z on the fuel tank. The other type writes YAMAHA on the fuel tank instead. The difference between these 2, i'm not sure.

Maybe some rxz pro can come enlighten us...

Yup, what you said is partly true! Well, I'm a new rider on a TA200. To me, the handling of the bike is ok. BUT... if you are riding during rainy days, you must be VERY careful when cornering. You must not corner fast.

AND!! DON'T USE THE STOCK TYRES!!! Change your tyres if you got the stock ones! I'm using Pirelli though...

If you want power, then I suggest this... Don't take Phantom! Ride a 2-stoker...

However, this is just my personal view... :)

Biking is something that everyone can learn and enjoy! :goodluck:

I also want to relax and bio cais but some cars just like to tailgate you even when you on left lane. Means cannot relax liao lor... Hate these tailgaters.

The ride is very relaxing that at one time when I was riding my dad's TA150 many years back, I almost slept!!! Hahaha...
