Great review...this is helpful as a local using it will be base on local weather conditions. On the water seepage....seeps in by the side only or all over.......??

certain parts only but not that bad. Happens to be on that day, it was raining very heavily. Suitable for local commuting though.

Tks for the info. Yeah, even Nolan(which I'm using N102) do leak a little if very heavy rain.

Tks for the info....but hve they brought it in yet? Rhyno will still be avail right since they need to clear stock first?

I don't think it will be in soon. I have the Justissimo and Rhyno(Fiancee's). Bear in mind, for Rhyno, the visor will be loose after sometime. So its either fully open or close.

But if You like the sleek look. Rhyno is a better buy. Moreover, it is half the prie of Justissimo(way back in 2007).

Hmmmm.Rhyno's visor coming loose....not so good as there are times we need to open a little...esp raining days. How long did ur fiancee has the rhyno and when did it start coming loose??

She is using the helmet everyday. It started around 6 months after getting it. The reason is mainly because there is no locking mechanism(the notches at edge of the visor) which allow you to open it 1 inch , half or full.

Ooooo....tat's not so good news. I was hoping this helmet will equal Nolan in quality. I've been using Nolan 102 the past 4yrs and the previous one, Nolan 101, 5yrs. Other than wear and tear, the helmet mechanism for flipping up the helmet as well as the visor has been as strong as the day I got it. Anyway, tks for the feed....it is definitely helpful in knowing the strengths and weaknesses of the helmets we're looking to buy.

If anyone is wondering why not cont'd with Nolan.......well, looking for a cheaper buy as Nolan is $300+. Hoping Caberg or Zeus will fit the bill:)

Just drop by Regina and told no stock coming in. Now it's Caberg Konda....but will be in two weeks or more.

Is Caberg Rhyno sold anywhere else? If yes, how much?

caberg rhyno should be available at chiap lee.

err...i just bought a AGV Longway from regina, cos I am looking for a PSB approved spare helmet that I can use at BBDC for my 2A classes and for next year class 2.

AGV Longway is heavier than my Shoei dualsport full face(can't remember the model), the cheek panels are not as comfy (but its slowly getting better and fitting to my face), the straps come with thicker cushioning which i find kinda warm. Overall, I still prefer my shoei but the AGV fits my price range and my needs. Oh the AGV is also quieter than my shoei.

careful when it rains, i bought my gf the agv longway, when its rained, the visor fogged up, a layer of i dunno what peeled, the "water stopper" at the visor was made of sponge not rubber..

errrr... can't recall the price for the Longway, could be 280???

ooohhh...thks for the warning abt the peeling from the sponge, its been sofar so good in the rain for me. ermm...mine is basically a spare helmet, my daily helmet is still my shoei ds hornet. so i guess the sponge willnot peel so soon.

its not the sponge peeling, its like a layer of plastic peeling at the visor..

Well, Regina forecast of date of goods coming in doesn't seem accurate most times tat I deal with them. It can drag from a mth late to a few mths late.

Now I re-considering going back to Nolan...and yes, it's cost a bit more than Caberg but I've used Nolan 101 and 102 and ea last me 5yrs...thus, been with my 1st flipup brandfor 10yrs...wow. Was considering Caberg due to good reviews and good price but my helmet is falling apart and will need a new helmet soon....esp if the price difference is not tat great.

it is the rubber at the side of the visor which is for to prevent the water from seeping from the side. when the visor flip up, it brushes against the rubber which is tend to wear off. i was lookin and thot of gettin the longway but den i choose carlberg Gt

i dunno if we are talking about the same thing.. but i can take a pic of my gf's helmet. from there you can see how poor condition the visor is. and it wasnt even abused.

n101 troublesome. Well, the N102 was much better...except for the sun visor on the outside....but quality wise, it's a solid helmet with solid parts. flip up mechanism as solid as the 1st day I got it. The visor graduated openings also working very well till today. Ventilation was good too. Was willing to try the Ryhno if the price is good but unfortunately, Regina now no stock and the new Konda will be priced higher since it's new.
