I don't do golf unfortunately, but I love playing the guitar when time permits!

 

My playing includes mostly metal from various sub-genres namely Trash, Death, Neo-classical, and Classic heavy metal. Sometimes I indulge in a little blues and occasionally jazz, but can't really say I play jazz guitar because I'm too lazy to learn the theory part! Jazz theory is far to complicated!

 

My Gibson Explorer is set-up to play Death metal in standard B tuning. The ESP KH-II plays trash, speed and whatever requires intense attack and high gain. I've also got a '78 Fender Strat for the more bluesy and classic metal stuff, and a Guitarras Almansa Classical/Flamenco guitar for classical music, and the "unplugged" stuff like 80s power ballads. Even though the latter requires a steel-stringed acoustic guitar, I personally prefer the sound of nylon strings.

 

How about you guys? What music do you play? And which bands have influenced your playing?

I play the acoustic guitar myself but not talented in it. Played for many years but never venture beyond the basics.
