Hi.

If this was posted in the wrong section, please bear with me and guide me where should I post this.

I am very particular about the rustiness of the bike exhaust where it connects from the engine to the muffler.

I believe most of us have seen how Super4 / Phantoms look shiny and clean but the sight of the brownish exhaust pipes just turns you off. lol. I believe that is the reason why some Super 4 owners painted some layers of black paint to cover up the rusty pipes?

The purpose of this thread is to ask the following:

[1] Can we change the exhaust of a bike to a brand new one?

[2] Are there any shops that will paint that black paint on your exhaust to cover up the rust?

[3] Are there ways to make the exhaust like new again?

Thank you.

Its all about the money. Option 3 requires time and elbow grease. You can pay someone to do it or do it yourself.
