Hi guys,

 

this thread is not to flame anybody but more of a personal experience.

 

this bike shop Balong, i don think its a gd place to go as they provide very dodgy services.

 

E.g: Ask them to wash filter, but never wash. don bother doin anythin.

 

There are more but i don wanna say. jus a word of advice.. don go there if u can.

i only knew it was not washed when i took my bike to another shop to service my bike today. this new shop open everythin to show me. i was convinced that the BALONG was doing shody work.

but, how long ago was e bike serviced between e 2 shops servicing? U know wad i mean? when balong help u 'clean' ur air filter til u go 2 e other.

Mayb coz e places u go is dirty? Juz a suggestion(doest mean i trying 2 protect balong )

It's better to have certain basic knowledge of bikes so when they servic ur bike u know what they r doing, monitor them yourself, if they balong u then question them on the spot rather than regret after pay...It's may not be the shop but only one of t mech did some alibaba job cos he feel tired that day or bad mood whatever, who knows....

i agree with you. jus that i usually leave my bike there and pick it up the next day coz i thot i cld trust them. well maybe ur right, shld jus wait ard n see what they are doin.

 

As for the earlier reply, from Balong to this present one, its about 4 mths? my mileage is abt 2000kms max? o well, as mentioned, its more of jus sharing.

 

Learnt my lesson. will check the bike before i take it away.

Serious la.. Most of the shop also like that what.. Made alot of empty promises.. I mean most of the shop and not all shops..

one maybe telling the truth, but due to the fact that he/she do not have the time and financial resources to fight the civil suit against the bikeshop will eventually make the poor but honest man swallow his pride and apologize. In a capitalist society, money is power as well as the truth.

He can always represent himself if he is not able to find the financial resources. Time is not an issue. If he is summoned to court, he will have to appear in court.

 

And WHEN he wins the case (since its the truth), the guilty party can be summoned to pay the other party's fees.

u r absolutely rite that if someone is summoned to court, he will have to appear no matter what. And it is precisely this reason that why ppl are afraid to get involved in court case. Many frens that i have known of have jobs that are very difficult to be absent even for a day. If the court case drag on, who know what kind of indirect ill consequences are going to affect the person and his job. Sometimes, compensation by the other party might not solve the issue. An example will be that if relationships among ur family members are soured as a result of this court case then do u tink compensation can radically solve this problem?

At this point of time, i have yet to mention ppl who will lose their job due to the court case. How are these ppl going to tide over for the duration of the trial?? Compensation onli comes at the end of the trial.

Ok la, now u r giving me scenarios on how people will lose jobs etc while attending court cases. Thats a bit deep, and no direct meaning to this post.
