And their dumping of their disgusting water.

Rubbish trucks have this annoying tendency of leaving their liquid valve open, so whenever they take a turn, usually left turn, all their excess liquids that came from compressing solid wastes go spluttering out.

This is unsafe, unhygienic to ALL road users.

I was sending an order in the wee hours of the morning at Tuas industrial area (which is not a very safe place to begin with...). I left Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim and entered the filter lane to Tuas West Road. Road conditions were good... till i entered the filter lane. Smack in the middle of the filter lane was a huge slick of water that spread out to the center of Tuas West Road. Imagine my extreme annoyance when i picked myself up... to smell the STINK of rubbish water. I suffered some abrasions on my left arm and my left leg. My poor motorbike also suffered some damage to its left foot rest, head fairing and headlamp assembly.

To clarify, i wasnt even being a speed demon in the first place. travelling 65kph at Jalan Ahmad Ibrahim, dropped to 50 before entering the filter lane, and slowing down even more when i leaned in. Its hard to see the patch of water since the place isnt particularly well lighted, plus the area was newly repaved with a new layer of tarmac, making the slick even harder to see.

I ask for the relevant authorities to clamp down on inconsiderate rubbish dump drivers who dangerously dump their rubbish water on the roads.

Im talking about the slime they leave behind, and the dangers the slime poses. Its a whole lot more slicker than normal water, id say almost as dangerous as sliding over spilt oil. Had the nasty experience of almost having an accident because of oil myself... but then the black patch in the middle of the road is easier to see, and avoid.

Next time i pass by the place, i'll take a photo and let you guys gauge how dangerous it is.
