MOTO1 SM series – SUPERMOTO TRACK DAY & Clubman race 1

FREE SUPERMOTO SHIRTS WILL BE GIVEN TO RIDERS WHO ARE ATTENDING MOTO1 SUPERMOTO TRACK DAY – 15th JULY 2007

 

Venue: Nusajaya Track, Malaysia (10 mins from 2nd link)

Date: Sunday, July 15

Time: 9am to 3pm (Scrutineering of bikes and briefing will be conducted)

Meeting place: Gelang Patah Esso Petrol Station.

Please arrive early to top up petrol. We will move off at 8.45am sharp.

Or the track itself if you know the way there.

The drinks stall will be open during the track day.

All participants will be required to sign indemnity forms for this event.

There will be ambulance service on standby.

 

This track day will be open to both Motorcycle Safety and Sports Club (MSSC) members and non-members.

 

Full track gear/protection is COMPULSORY.

1. MX full gear (elbow, knee guards, chest protector) is allowed but race leather is preferred.

2. Full face helmet (MX or road)

3. Full gloves (MX or road)

4. Boots (MX or road)

 

Non-members (MOTO1 clubman race 1 with Free Shirt)

Clubman Race 1 Arrangement:

10.00am – 11.30am Free & Easy practice session

11.30am – 12.00pm Class A Clubman 10 laps

12.00pm – 12.30pm Class B Clubman 10 laps

12.30pm – 3.00pm free practice session

 

Format for Clubman: 10-12 laps

2 Separate Groups: Expert Class A & Novice Class B

Prizes: Awarded to top 3 finish for BOTH CLASS A and Class B

 

Calendar 2007:

MOTO 1 series– SUPERMOTO Clubman race 1 (15th July)

MOTO 1 series– SUPERMOTO Clubman race 2 (12th August)

MOTO 1 series– SUPERMOTO Clubman race 3 (2nd September)

MOTO 1 series– SUPERMOTO Clubman race 4 (LAST) (30th September)

 

Points for each Clubman race:

1st – 3 points

2nd – 2 points

3rd – 2 points

4th – 2 point

5th – 1 point

6th – 1 point

7th – 1 point

8th – 1 point

 

Explanation: Riders who miss any clubman race 1 - 4 not left behind.

The points system are in such configuration so tat difference between participants are kept close.

 

WINNER @ END of SERIES 2007

Trophies will be awarded to the top 3 from each class at the end of the series (4 races, total points)
