they use the term jack to mean 'machine pressed'. they remove both forks, as well as the top an bottom triple clamps. then as a set they are 'jacked' (machine pressed) back straight.

yes, we all know your england got A1.

DIY- Cyclocomputer Digital Speedometer Upgrade

Notice that other vehicles have different speeds when traveling side-by-side?

Unsure if the analog speedometer is really accurate?

Prefer easier to read numbers than a stick on a dial?

Install a cyclocomputer!

http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=313&pictureid=1956http://www.singaporebikes.com/forums/picture.php?albumid=313&pictureid=1957

Features & Functions

* 999km/h max speed

* electronic backlight

* digital clock

* detachable, prevent theft

* resetable digital odometer, good for accurately calculating actual Fuel Consumption

* average speed and max speed (good for lacers)

* splash proof (as long as you don't ride into a 'longkang')

* programmable to different wheel sizes

* can be installable on ANY bike, but CBR150 would be better =)

This 30 min DIY project will cost between $55 to $65, depending on the number of sets i order from the supplier. DIY session dates are either 5th September (Saturday) or 13th September (Sunday). Please let me know if you're interested so i can do a MO!

I'm interested, what's the best price?

1. name/ bike

MO closes on 30th August.

the short answer is yes, it will work. the only reason why i can't take a picture of it in action is because "i can't ride my bike with no handlebars, no handlebars..." -Flobots

but the 125km/h top speed was recorded along SLE.

seriously? are u guys for real?

LOL yah are u guys serious???C-power rich in vitamin C... ITZ CHEAP POWER lol:cheeky::cheeky::cheeky:

Im serious. The reason (I was told) is becoz Msian dont use V-Power, only Sgpeans, who come to Msia, pump V-Power. If lucky, u still got to pump V-Power coz there r some left over, for the price of Super Shell (95).

I not sure about C- or A- Power. LOL

Guess they will be selling 98 in the near future. Hopefully.

Guys, ride safely. Road is not for playing.

There are few types of disc brakes.

The common type is the made of rusting material.

The plus point is, good braking efficiency.

The minus point is, rusting after more the 6hrs in contact with rain/water.

The only way to avoid rusting is to cover your bike during this raining season.

Or constantly keep the disk dry by riding every 6hr interval, all day and night long.

The stainless steel non rusting type, looks good but may not be as effective in braking the bike, when the same force is applied with the same two fingers.

Well, i prefer the rusting type. Lol.

These people never heard of economics is it? I'm damn sure that they would earn more selling V-power at Malaysian price than at Singaporean price. Hello, V-Power has an elastic demand!

Interested, but I wonder if how easily it can be switched from bike to bike. I need to know what is the best price first.

Wouldn't the rust affects the performance after the discs has warmed up? The whole differential heating and all? And rust decreases the tolerance to metal fatigue right? Personally, the makers did not intend for the rust to be there so let's keep it off. And change the discs if you can. It's like forty at LAB.

Myopic? That's nice of you... I call it stupid! There is no imaginable reason why they need to take the V-power out entirely. They can simply limit the sale to their southern states. Any body that has a logical reason for this please let me know... The next kopi ice is on me...

psssst...dont bother abt offering kopi ice. cause there is sometimes just no good reason for why certain things are done across e causeway. if they could even consider ideas like banning all singaporean registered vehicles from pumping petrol within 40km from JB, what do u tink??
