Don't race or show off your cornering skills on a public road and risk losing your licence or worst still crashing and losing your life.

Tonight... Tuas track is open for you to show your riding skills from 7 PM to midnight. A safe environment with no TPs or cars to worry about... just you, your bike and the track.

All for $30 only. Jeans, boots, gloves, jacket with padding or armour and full face helmet required.

If you always have the urge to ride fast.. here is the proper place to let go steam without worrying about losing your licence.

Talking about how low and fast you can go in corner is one thing... proving it to yourself that you can do it at the track is another. Its always harder to do than to talk.

Ride safe everyone.

an interesting website i chanced upon while considering whether to get a 2nd hand stainless steel air filter for my dad's weekend car.

http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/airfilter/airtest1.htm

tink ZR & midzy may be interested in this. the website author mentioned the below:

- difference in air flow between having stock air filter (OEM mazda air filter) and no filter seems minimal

- generally better flow performance air filter (K&N was quoted as one of the filters being tested) means weaker filtration ability

i tink i'm going to juz stick to stock air filter on both car & bike for now.

erm ok, there is this magnet that goes pass the sensor, the sensor is attached to the 7seg LED display, then when the magnet passes thru the sensor, it will calculate the rate it passes thru it, then count how fast the bike is gg based on the amt of repetitions.

thanks for explaining. Norisha, kindly see above.

Hmm. there is a reason why engineers choose the certain combi for certain cars is because they have tested the results and chosen that as the best.

but if u got the spare cash K&N, you like. why not?

yup itz true but he only tested on 1 car which runz in fuel injection and theres 2 type of fuel injection on cars multi port or throttle body itz not really a fair test for me basicly thats the reason why i dint get a cbr 125 or a roadwin instead i choose an older carb type bike... itz a totally different scenario 1st think he did it on car 2nd itz runz it fuel injection

all mods does not perform well in all type of vehicle... for dat car i would do is add in a hydrogen tank which tube slot in the airbox then u will get optimal performance... and ours bike carb runz like a vacuum... itz a very2 different thing... and for ur info our stock airfilter itz not a paper type at all take a look ull be suprised... and the open port airfilter im using on my bike itz the same material as the stock one hehe only no airbox to restrict it...

Hmmm, i see Mitzy's POV here...

But of course how can we compare our single cylindered bike to a cars?

IMO, car's filtration system is DAMN power one, it practically sucks everything.. i had a friend who had this small little Myvi car with a open pod, he removed the air filter and revv the engine and at the moment he rev, you can see manymany stuff flying in...

and also, our bike's breathing system is very covered i believe, so its kinda hard to make it REALLY dirty.. Unless our area is like china's sand storm? But very unlikely i guess....

The test's results ar pretty much predictable actually, If you want Maximum breathability, you tend to get more dirt in... If you wanna prevent dirt from going in, you gotta sacrifice on the air volume in...

Just like why they call you to wear PT kit instead of no4 to do yr ippt... Why, so your sweat will dry up and cool down yr body faster to prevent heat injury.

same lor.

haha dont say until i so pro lar. haha.

i think maybe tmr then i go in fast game...

drop in is just like the stock one eh only material and the breathable different, whereas open port is a giant mushroom at a corner of the car's bonnet. lol
