CBR150R Outing!! Time

 

Trip to Kota Tinggi 4 duck rice, shopping & waterfall.

Date : 4th or 5th march.

 

Timing should be, go early 8 or 9 am back b4 8pm latest into SG. There will be no night riding on the Kota Tinggi trunk road - Leave KT by 4pm & if possible we could go into Kulai for a "nice" dinner.

 

There will be rest stop every 45mins. The 1st rest stop will be at Ulu Tiram - Blur if U come I will get U a riding buddy.

No... I dun wan to know wat can happen - Does any1 of U got fine B4 or do U know of a gd fz tt got fine for Exhaust Modification

 

So far all we know is KH telling us there will be a $500 fine right ??

 

I was told tt if I customize a Central Exhaust wif a built-in End Can to muffer the noise similar to the original - then it is legal. But if I modify without the end can which boost the power & noise of the bike then it is illegal.

haha.. cos the clutch wire loosen again.. so i adjusted it than try it again..

once done i look up the neutral light blown again.. haha..

i suspect it might be caused by the trying of the gear lah..

cos the last time it blown also cos of this.

actually ah, weixiong i dun think the bulb blown leh, maybe it's due to loose T10 connector leh. cuz the bulb is very new only leh. i changed it back in january. maybe u try to get the original T10 bulb from limbat and see how lor.

 

i'll be down at limbat's shop tmr afternoon if u are there also i can help u to do the change. :smile:

Heya.

 

Was away in Phuket for a week kiteboarding. Was a fantastic break, totally disconnect from the world. No phone (no roaming on my phone), no internet, no work. Just chilling, eating, read 3 books and kiteboarded some days.

AWESOME!

 

Yep, still got the CBR150. It sits in the carpark and gets ridden once a week if lucky by my gf. Think the battery is flat now.

 

As for the DRZ...

Ridden super gently the consumption is more than 35km/l

normal riding is around 30-32 km/l

hard riding is a lot less...

Still HEAPS to be done. The current bar is the stock one from my DRZ400-SM.

Will be changing it to a monster bar soon and moving the bar clamps to the forward position.

 

Now I just need to workout a suitable headlight and how to remount the speedo unit to it.
