Yep, still got the CBR150. It sits in the carpark and gets ridden once a week if lucky by my gf. Think the battery is flat now.

 

As for the DRZ...

Ridden super gently the consumption is more than 35km/l

normal riding is around 30-32 km/l

hard riding is a lot less...

 

Still HEAPS to be done. The current bar is the stock one from my DRZ400-SM.

Will be changing it to a monster bar soon and moving the bar clamps to the forward position.

 

Now I just need to workout a suitable headlight and how to remount the speedo unit to it.

oh kiteboarding eh? didn't get to try it the last time i was in phuket.

 

anyway, didn't realise the DRZ is actually quite economical for a scram.

 

and please update the pictures of ur streetfighter 929 man! i have a feeling it's gonna be a beauty. :smile:

Maybe you can edit your post and cut the pictures from the "quoted section"

If you get the E model it drinks more but has 8-10HP more.

Anyway, that's riding the bike in a very mild mannered way.

Open the throttle and it will drink more.

Luckily it has the torque and light weight (relative) so you can just give it a short run through each gear and shortshift.

Insurance was $300 2nd party (3rd party + fire and theft)

Transfer $150.

 

All in, just under 10k for a 6 month old bike.

Included a few access, fork and swingarm sliders,

Acerbis front fender

Motard Handguards

and a small box and rack.

 

I was quoted $12.8k Machine price from a few shops for a new bike.

I'm aware that some ppl can get them cheaper though.

 

Figure I saved myself around 3.5k all in.

hmm.. i tried a lot of taking out the bulb and put it back and press press alr. also cannot lehz.. ya.. will drop by uncle lim shop but not tml lah. most prob fri.

How about front headlight assemblies with the fairing peices (top cowling only)?

Need a spare set to fit to my 929.

 

Actually I still have a cracked original headlight from when some dummy at the workshop decided to move my bike and smacked it into the back of another bike and broke the light. DOH!

 

Gonna use that as a test sample but I need to get the cowling parts first.
