haha.. going to change my engine oil soon nxt wk. anyway ozzar and steph.. tat time u telling more bout the thickness 40w50 or wateva. wat is it ar?? what is the recommended de? maybe wna try kahhwee the r4 fully syn engine oil. haha.

It is refering to the thickness of the oil la. If u change ya self. U got the choice of esso 4T gold, mobil and carstol R4 for 15 bucks. The castrol power 1 is the one i am using the last time, very gd EO also. At 7 bucks from LAB.

haha.. okok.. r4 can wait for a longer mileage b4 the nxt change than power1 rite?

Hmm. acutally every 2 k change once would be gd. I tried R4 with v-power petrol. The pick up was powerful yet very quiet. Today i was pillioning my fren, i was shock by the response of the bike when picking up. The gear changing was so smooth. Sweet sweet ah. If u change liao can use it to clean ya chain ma. if not put into the bottle then bring to motordiam at night when they close and pour into the tank outside the shop.

okok.. thanks dude.. haha.. but if i use it to clean chain than same thing as use degreaser rite? juz wipe it off lah. or need to soap it also?

hey...........WS..........if U are using degreaser to clean the chain, then U just need to wash of wif water...... nai no need to use soap..........but must wait for thre chain to dry b4 u lube...... a good degreaser will clean veri thoroughly ......... dun need to do anything else.....de .... :smile: :smile: :smile: :smile:

oh. haha. okok. got quite confused reading the lubing chain thread in hands on. some say soap some say water some say engine oil so also dno which is better. haha.
