don btw does fjt sell those chiong mirror or anyone knows? like lab those mini kind gona change mirror for cbr due to 1 side crack anyway. dont like to patrnoise lab if other shop got..

btw for all n espically weeboon, remember i always post about lost of power cant throttle to increase speed even at max throttle.

this time round both air cleaner and plug is brand new but same problem, finally fix it through the carburettor needle. the mech do for veri long then find out the problem as it does not appear often base on his word.. even a new bike can happen so it depend on luck. well needle dont need to change but need to increase the height inside the carb or something like this, meaning the jet pin(if not wrong) is not the orginal spot when brand new, some adjustment to the location(higher/lower) while inside carb.. any ponders anyone..

dont tink FJT carries chiong parts leh

there are plenty of other shops other than LAB that carry mirrors~

although i admit LAB does have a wider range of them

hehe

my JB mech did mention that there are mirrors with shorter 'stem' which can be fixed on our bike

but i dint asked to take a look at them cause i feel if the stem is shortened, then the angle of the rear view that can be reflected in the mirror will be somewhat changed

:cheeky:

hope u can understand what im describing

anyway, i remember 1 of the bros here posted that he managed to get a piece of the original mirror for $20+

since only 1 side of yr mirror is gone case, maybe can consider spending $20+ to replace it w/ an original piece rather than spend $10+ to get a pair of aftermarket ones? :goodluck:

hm..at least now u dont have to keep replacing yr air cleaner already! haha! the previous time i encountered lost of power even when full throttle will be due to choke cable. so i guess its all somewhat linked to the carburettor and the air/fuel mixture bah~

Alrites but u lead the way, no idea how to get there..

Thanks Aman and cusster, will definitely ride safe, just wished our bikes would that little bit of extra power to accelerate out of danger when required. And the helmet is actually my brother's, so yup hahah free FF for me...

hmm.. i pasted mine the same way too. i guess we hav no other locations to put our p plates cos TP will always b on the lookout for p plate riders not displaying their p plates clearly. mine also left a mark. but i pasted a sticker over it, so it isn't a problem anymore

i saw some others simply use the velcro provided, put it on the inside of the

Zippo liquid might actually work. I use it to clean up sticker remains on my bowling ball. Works like a wonder. So I think it might work on it.

By the way, sending my bike for first servicing (new bike, just hit 1000km) tomorrow, then planning to wash it. Any guys send their bikes anywhere in particular to wash? Not really the type to wash my own.

One more, after first servicing, do you think it's safe to go up to 90 km/h? Just wanna be careful that I don't cause problems for my bike. So far I've only been going at 70 km/h max.

i guess it's better to have the bike washed by yrself

cause the guys at the car wash kiosks will probably be using jetsprays on the bike which may cause water to get pumped into places where it shouldnt be at e.g. spark plug

a piece of sponge, liquid soap, rag, 2 buckets of water will do the job fine

do remember to lubricate yr chain after the wash

going up and beyond 90kmph on yr bike after the 1st servicing shouldnt be an issue at all

in fact i tink it is good that u try out the bike on higher RPMs occasionally to ensure that it is working well

try it out when there r lesser vehicles on the roads yah?

:goodluck:
