CBR150R dun compare to KTM or WR, if u talking about scramblers to compared with CBR, take TW200 or DR200.

 

KTM or WR compared with Mito or RS125 or even SP or KIPS more appropriate.

im not a racer wannabe, but to me it's juz a mode of transprotation la..

i've look at both 2strokes n 4 strokes n i admit 2 strokes are more powerful

but they consume oil like no tmr! unia bo? summore nid to top up 2t..

 

4 strokes may be less powerful but easier to maintain rite?

 

im looking at scramblers too.. ktm egs 200 or wr 200..

which one u reccomend uh? cbr or those dirtbkes???

hmm, if ur using for transportation, dun go for scramblers cos they also eat petrol. KTM i tink is 2 stroke, FC is worse than SP.. WR is 4 stroke, but FC i duno cos i dun hav frens riding any..

haha so im not the only one with mismatched bulb aiming. My left beam will shoot up while the right one is lower. According to our manual, we can only adjust the angle for both together using the single centered adjustment screw.

btw, just filled up petrol formula 98 at shell thomson. Something is funny there. I always fill up around 7 to 8litres of petrol on other shell stations. But overthere, I was only putting around 6+ litres until full tank. The mileage on full tank remain the same (300+km since previous top up), thus my consumption is much lower now, around 51kmpl. Normally its around 40-41kmpl.

 

This is the 2nd time i filled up there, the first one was 5 days ago, and it was also 6+ litres only.

 

Going to verify this one more time (fill up on red line again at thomson). See if i get 6+ litres again. Then I'll try going back on my old station at corporation road.

oh if im not wrong, my gear 6 rpm also ard the same as urs.. y dun u try n drag ur gear 5. im sure u will reach that speed at ard 10rpm.. juz dun exceed the red line

wah our CBR150R riders are getting more and more fierce nowadays. i always get overataken by CBR150Rs along the highway, but usually are the uncles with boxes bigger than mine.

 

i'm a turtle, max 100kph nia.

Oh ya, that day i managed to close and lock my Givi POINT 33 litres box with 2 half face helmet with a set of raincoat that day, quite a feat. didn't thought that it'll be possble. :cheeky:

6th gear cannot drag high enough mah. 5th gear can drag higher = more noisy.

how come your box got fin? i never hear before leh. haha, tt day i decided to try squeezing 2 helmets mah, so i spend like 5 mins at my box, then finally managing to close and lock it.

yah.. me too, always got overtaken by uncles on CBR150R. even when moving off, they're still faster. duno how come their bike like more powerful, or it's just because of their experience on bikes

haha.. yeah, it'll b noisy, but it sounds better wif my airfilters. LOL actually if u drag 5th gear, will b easier than to drag 6th gear. so it's like better to drag 5th gear than change to 6th at a certain rpm than just drag the 6th gear..

haha.. mayb u need to change ur airfilter like mine, then u like the sound? LOL.. juz kidding.. for FC, i really duno, shld b about the same. cos i juz went for my nxt pump. n after calculating my FC, i got 41.39km/litre. this includes the time while i tried riding at 125km/h at gear 5.. the last time i rode normally i got 41.68km/litre..
