don.. i tink u tried almost all the common 2b bikes. should hav the most exp otr. should install alarm sys on ur bike now since cbr is getting more popular. but nobody will be stupid enough to steal our head fairing. i took quite long to remove it. haha...

hahaa...in fact i had the same set of Cheetah alarm from my KRR & X1 but dint transfer over to my CBR150. im quite hesitant whether to install the alarm on CBR150 cause it is a purely electric start bike w/o kick starter. :cheeky:

if somehow the battery kena drained overnight then morning want to start bike my head big liao! im not really good at the push start thingy :p

anyway, the alarm i had wasnt too sensitive. it works on detecting knocks & shocks. previously had it fixed in the middle portion of my X1 hoping that it could detect shocks when pple try to push my bike off the side/main stand. sekali they aim my head fairing which totally didnt need the push the bike at all. ended up the head fairing was gone w/o activating the alarm at all. :giddy:

generally older models can hit 140kph, the newer ones think can hit 150 ba. some people here i think hit 160 before is it?

can hit 160 la but its redline liao. anyway our bike meter siow one. i was riding 100 my friend ride cbr 4 meter only 80 so i think when we are riding 160 others are only 140

when i changed my rear tyre from 100/80 to 90/80 i did feel a tiny weeny bit of difference. but FC wise more or less the same. yr definition of big tyres is how big? haha :cheeky:

Is there one with dimension of 120 sth sth? Can it fit our bike? I saw my friend sp use.

no offence to X1 riders. but the bike simply doesnt have enough power once it reaches 90kmph. im not the kind who enjoys thrashing the bike and throttle it to the max w/ the engine screaming away. hence there was a period of time when i was doing only 80kmph on the X1.

now w/ the CBR150, no problem with cruising at 90kmph. :)

judging from the comments on spark135 frm mechanics, seems like the extra 25 CC of engine capacity compared to X1 is rather significant. im not surprised if a spark135 can overtake our CBR150 easily even though we have a slight advantage in terms of CC.

:cheeky:

but seriously, spark135 is really like the taxi on the streets now. which IMO, makes it rather risky to own. u never know when u will get minor minor parts kena stolen when u leave yr bike in carpark. had my head fairing stolen during the time when i rode X1. frm then on decided to get a less popular bike. hehe. so in a sense, maybe i will start to get worried & concerned when our CBR150 gets too common on the road!

Is it just or is it a trend to ride CBR 150? Last time before i rode this bike never heard of CBR 150. Now seeing more CBR 150. Maybe the era of CBR 150 is beginning.

And yeah i hate thiefs. Curse them to hell.

Not surprising consider CBR150 is the only 4 stoke 2B sportbike available, well as far as i know.

think its possible

but are u sure u will need a size 120 rear tyre??

perhaps can try 120/80 if there is one

:cheeky:

tink u can probably corner until u scrap the rear exhaust pipe bottom and the tyre still quite abit of allowance for u to go down even further :p

I saw another thread in the sportsbike section abt a new 4 stroke sportsbike coming out for '08 model. Yamaha YZF-R125.. Looks almost exactly like an R6.

looks cool dude, wonder if they'll bring it into singapore. confirm sell much better than CBR150R. i guess the japanese have no choice lah. Aprilia revamped their RS125, hence the japs have to match up. agree?

Im doubt its the vibration. It must be those low lifers who steal.
