He said he write cheque la brother. Anyway if he never pay i go IDAC tell em' that i wanna claim from the clown ah? Cause IDAC say they only do claims for NTUC policy holder. True?

no choice.

looks like u will have to take the cheque and queue at bank to cash out. like that can know immediately if the cheque will bounce.

i do remember hearing somewhere that companies like Mitsui doesnt participate in IDAC assessment. perhaps u can call yr insurer to check with them. alternatively, some motorshops do provide a complete post-accident package in that they include repairs & do the claiming for u as well.

when u lowered the front fork, did the mechanic topup any fork oil for u? seems to me that the front forks in the pic u provided are abit too low. front forks in their stock condition shouldnt be hard enough to prevent the head fairing from crashing into the front mudguard when u hit large bumps or e-brake. try to raise the fork abit more??

Bro, i am sick and tired of this waiting game. I am gonna call Mitsui ask em who can assess the damage then go there to assess the damage. After which, i will go claim his bloody insurance. Damn fed up.

Anyway he did not top up fork oil. The thing can feel when at bumpy roads esp at JB. Nah, i don't intend to raise it anymore. Getting comfy with the current set up. Just ride carefully from now on at humps and bumpy roads.

ur reply is cool :cheeky: haha, maybe the guy's new to bikes ba. anyway, in singapore there's actually quality alternatives other than the usual Dunlop and Bridgestone.

IRC sells soft compound tires that'll fit CBR150R perfectly, as in the size is exactly same as stock.

perhaps Shinko will have them too, i'm using Shinko on my other bike, so far so cool, i feel rather comparable to my Metzeler M1 so think their quality not bad.

all motoworkshop got sell tyres, its a matter of whether they got the particular brand or size u wan, their pricing also another matter, but a little difference only.

dunlop TT900 is best for distance, size is 90/80 is suitable.

battlax bt39 for corning, size is 90/80, 110/70 (if u wan big rear tyres).

these are my opinon, i not sure what others use.

dun start shooting me, thanks:sian:

anyone using different tyre sizes?
