any of u guys service ur forks before? change spring or just replacement of fork oil or seals or dust caps? got difference in performance?

 

dunno if i put on weight or wat, i feel my fork getting softer and springier.

 

speaking of fork.. what is the function arh ?

 

my right side front fork got scratches le.. i think the cover, the part below where we see the silver pole got some crack.. i think is fork seal crack.. but the mecahnic say no leak yet so still ok for now juz dun go touch.. heard its expesnive too? but my left side one no crack nor scratch..

i think that's the dust cap u refering to instead of fork seal, i think fork seal cannot see liddat de. i changed 1 before, i think last time brake fluid found its way to the fork and it just spoils the dust cap. luckily dust cap is cheap :smile:

the external dust cover comes together as a set (with inner fork seals) if i am not wrong.

 

perhaps u can consider adding in abit more fork oil to make the fork stiffer. the key is adding abit more, not too much. too much will make the fork too stiff for comfort riding.

I'm home! Just got discharged today.. Now have a 3 or 4 inches long scar on my right shoulder.. Will have to be in sling for the next 3 weeks..

does cbr have any racing pipe....like arrows,yoshimure,endurance,tunder or other........

 

hi our bike got endurance pipe but is not legal loh the pice is around 100 dollar with tuning and i koe of a guy he change liao then he put in our end can when he go track then he just change the end can he also change the cdi and change the carb to sp one the top speed increase to 180 and the pick up also gd but then u can say good bye to yr fc it will drop to around 260-280 km for a full tank hope this help and answer to wat u want but if u think of change the pipe the fine is 500 if i not wrong but if u follow like him change the end can back is ok legal

i'm going to pay my bike fine for parking under void deck, to those who do that as well, dun do that le. the fine is painful!!

 

i parked under void deck because that carpark only have like 4 slots for bikes serving 3 or 4 blocks of flats and when i parked at the carpark beside the motorcycle lots the last time with coupon, i got booked as well.

 

not booked by the carpark attendant but the town council people.

 

i got a fine too but i now appealing by email waiting for reply cos my season parking expired liao i did not know loh forget whencos now use the new blue tag cannot see wat the fine is 25dollars sian have not try see mp how u all do that how to make appointment

could be the speedometer cable spoilt/broken. get the cable checked. shouldnt cost u more than $10+.

yup, just checked, they do come in a set. i dunno how to add woah. was thinking of servicing it and changing the oil one shot in december when i do 2nd year servicing. pocket gonna burn hole.

 

probably gg to bleed brakes, change brake pads, flush coolant, service carb, EO change, spark plug change, air filter and cleaner change. now thinking if wanna do the forks as well.

that rubber fits nicely into the hole in our frame. did u remove the tank to confirm if its still there? sekali it was pushed into the hole only (wrong positioning).

 

i think last time go jb put accesories take out they never put back. thats the only thing i can think of.

u refering to doing it in JB? actually unique gave me a quote liao. it's double what you estimated, everything mentioned above minus EO, spark plug, air filter and air cleaner, which are the stuff i'm gonna change myself.

 

Maxima fork oil, Motul DOT 5.1 brake fluids, normal thai brake pads and engine ice coolant. if normal coolant can minus about 20 bucks ba. :giddy:

what i'm confused about is the huge FC difference between the 07th-13th and 13th-23rd. riding style the same, so does that mean just change EO will affect FC, or is my maths wrong?

wah, wat's ur riding style, 021107 - 131107 sounds pretty standard - 38.05km\L.

 

but later period sounds fishy, u managed to clock 452km on that before u go and pump? and only managed to pump in 8.859L?

i was advised to bring the letter of summon, go and meet the MP during his weekly meet-the-people session. but i e mailed him instead. he took less than a day to reply me. he needed more information. so now i'm waiting to see wat's the outcome. *fingers crossed* :pray:

i'm normally a very slow and lazy rider. Gear change at 5k and below. However, i have a odd habit of pulling clutch when downhill and approaching red lights. This means i just free-wheel when ever i approach slower moving vehicles or need to stop. Thus i don't do much hard breaking or sometimes even breaking. Slightly irritating for cars behind me, but i normally check behind before doing so. By free-wheeling roughly 10%-15% of the trip, is it possible to clock 50+km/L?
