I haven't changed the air filter in my ownership of this bike, not sure if the previous owner did. worst case scenario is he didnt change also, and the bike is almost 2 years old with 16K km. Does a dirty air filter also causes the rpm to fluctuate(needle goes up and down once in the high region)?

I change on 8 to 10 k km.. But sometime also depend can it last so long too but most probably can one.. From wat i observed is to gauge when throttle FULL, n u can only go up to 100 or 110, sometime have this problem while sometime dont, most likely is air cleaner dirty mean time to change..

above problem can be due to too good engine oil, such as maxima n moutul, which the latter have problem.. But from mech, the later eo moutul is actually very good for class 2 bike.. Maybe not suitable for us..

 

i dunno wats oil fliter, but i heard sayin no oil one, only got air fliter aka cleaner..

most probably is the air cleaner? most ppl call it air fliter.. how old is that item then, as in how much distance since u last change..

 

carb problem is i faced one.. anyway carb is new, new problem is, 6 gear after 115km/h to 130km/h, speedo meter still will swervel up and down.. since carb is new i rule it out, what other item or possible problem ?

 

just to check

 

you travel at gear 6 115km/h to 130km/h, your tachometer which means your rpm is recording at how many Ks. is it 10k rpm?

 

doesn't your bike vibrates vigorously and the sound of the engine like want to explode + piston jam. does piston jam even occur in 4 stroke engine? hmm

 

but i asked mechanic, he said it's normal for 4 strokes engine. is it true? :S

1. u just check with Uncle Lim how much is he selling the bulbs now..

2. either u go to his shop and take the bulbs OR u internet banking transfer $$ to him, he mail the bulbs to u..

3. U fix it on, then finish liao..

 

dun worry about installation.. if Uncle Lim is free he will guide u how to one..

Or else, I can help u out too.. where u stay??

Btw, Uncle Lim's shop is at Bedok..

i was 3rd owner, 2 years old with 30k+. when i changed it, i got the 'dirty' look from Wee Boon and Uncle Lim. maybe the air cleaner condition 'reflected' off their faces.

Dude, insurance depends on your AGE, riding experience, etc. u can try call the insurance companies and ask for quotations. Yeah indeed the CBR125 headlights looks cool. Any idea can it fix to our CBR150 Headlights?

I think I can oni help with the halogens on the headlight cos I nv change the T10 before leh..

Anyway, I think Uncle Lim will guide u on changing the bulbs one..

The key thing that he mentioned about chging T10s is ur hands must be super clean cos otherwise, u wun be able to pull out the bulbs..

T10s are used in the CBR150 Meters & signal bulbs (T15 but T10 can fit) ..... if i am not wrong the stop lights as well.

 

oh signal bulbs.

 

how much is the H6M & T10 bulbs right now? 1 for $10 each?

 

nono my later means like 10.00pm or 11.00pm. it's not 2.00am or something like that lol.

 

is it dangerous to go in by yourself through first link or its better to go in thru second link?

 

any map or like threads with which i can make reference to for directional help :D

yeah should be in 10k region.. as for the example u say it seem quite techanical which i know nuts also.. see weeboon or uncle lim will explain not? they more experience... cos 110 at 8k rpm
