Hi guys.

 

I own a 2007 model black CBR. It has onlight. Both the main lights and instrument cluster lights are on all the time. I wanna change this.

 

I want only one main light on all the time and want to add a switch to on the other main light and instrument cluster light. Do any of you guys know where I can buy a handle bar mounted switch?

 

why not just get a simple switch and mount it onto the handlebar area with a nice metal bracket?

definitely going to be easier and cost much lower

U can mount the switch by the side fairing next to the fuel tank - but do get the bike shop to break the circuit at the ignition. :)

whats the difference between 07 and 06? don't mind can we have a pic to get a clearer picture of your 07 model bike?

 

here is a picture of my bike. I guess the only difference is the color scheme

it's near the national stadium.

 

there's a big carpark over there.

 

national stadium is near old changi airport road if i'm not wrong.

 

go up abit more it's near to east coast park / marine parade already.

it's not accurate to compare the viscousity between different brands actually. castrol 50 and maxima 50 might be different de. :smile:

bike carb is changed too, different model.. but duno what will be the difference in performance..

Hey Derrick, you are using what viscosity engine oil? I just changed to Maxima also 15/50. How good or not?

 

i not very sure of the viscosity it is name maxima extra serve me well if u want can try per bottle include labour is $20

i changed my carb mah. the mech see the difference between the new one n the old one.. mine should be 2006 or 2005, both are the same version if not wrong.. which is before the current design phase..

juz now saw a blue fbc blue cbr150 at parkway..

 

erm the 2 metal bar, 1 beside the chain and the other beside the exhaust one, that bike is black in color.. my norm is silver such that if u got flings/dirt of chain will make the silver coated into black.. but that bike one cos of black seem to look nicer.. did he custom make it or newer version bike that 2 bar is black ?

 

the 2 bar is the part where the tyre screw go past both to hold tyre in place de..
