just want to check with you guys. does anyone has their IU bracket positioned near their fuel tank's cap? (the black plastics with 4 screws)

mine's positioned near the clutch lever with a nut and bolt, but it broke for the 2nd time which had been bought recently from LAB, less than 2months. the quality of the IU bracket seems like CMI standard, cause it rusted and broke so easily.

anyone got any recommendations for IU to relocate to near the fuel tank's cap(@ which shop and price), or any other recommendations for place to get a DECENT QUALITY IU bracket.

Regards,

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

Mine's positioned there but have not looked in detail how is attached. Will look at it and let you know. Perhaps can DIY?

:faint:

the metal bracket so fragile ah?

my IU used to be attached to the handlebar. but found it obstructing my view of the fuel gauge when travelling straight. got motorshop to modify the bracket abit and relocate to the front part of the fuel tank. it is attached using one of the 2 screws.

do note that there may be some vibration sounds if you were to put the IU on the tank (maybe if u can get a bracket that uses 2 mounting points can fix this problem) & the motorshop mech did warn me the possiblity of my face/chest smacking right into the IU in the event of accident if i were to put it on the fuel tank.

Isn't that why we wear a (FF) helmet? In any case, hitting the IU with my head or chest will be the least of my worries in case of accident :giddy:

Btw, Don, you still planning to go along with the Kukup trip on April 6? Still considering and trying to get more CBR to join the fun, can 'cruise' together :thumb:

Collectees, that day you told me the DID gold chain X-rings cost around S$48 right? How about rear sprocket?

Btw, anyone of you especially naruto and obeno want to get front sprocket 14 teeth? My mech have stocks for it already, it cost $16 but I havenot tried to ask for discount.

Uncle lim, Heavy Duty, O-rings, and X-rings, are they different types? Which 1 do you think is better? I heard some of forumers saying X is better than O, how about heavy duty? I meant better is last longer. Thanks a lot uncle lim.
